@lololulu19 You've made this same complaint over an over - at what point to you realize: no one here cares that you were punished, even though you have a large personal library and have been rather generous (by your own measure) with sharing that content. 2 things: When they remove the torrents here, they are not affecting the library you have on your computer at all... can't you beat off to the OLDER Staxus content that you already have? (Specifically: so no one misunderstands: what I'm really saying here is that, once you download - or even when you upload - the site has no direct ties to the files on your system, and there are no trackers (sorry for the use of the torrenting term) either (though there USED to be some watermarked content, this site no longer does that - if it ever was done BY THE SITE to begin with!) Your analogy to a library is badly flawed: If I purchase the latest novel from Steven King, read it, then give it to the library to allow others to read it too, that's one thing. But if I take Mr. King's novel, copy all of the pages onto loose-leaf paper, then sit outside the bookstore with a little sign that says "Why buy this novel? I'll give you a copy of mine for free!" It'd be one thing if we had purchased DVDs of this material (or, more modernly NFTs?) and mailed them to each other... but, this ain't that... If you're so dedicated to the content from Staxus, spend the $200/yr to subscribe to their site! The models you love so much can then be paid to perform!

@loststoner said in Do I have to....: Also what is the quickest and easiest way to get my upload ratio increased? In addition to the freeleech approach mentioned by @bi4smooth above, you can download a torrent file into your client but only select a very few files to download (maybe 10% of the material). If you do this very soon after the torrent is posted to this site, you'll get that small amount of material very quickly, and then become a "source" for that material for other leechers, and you'll get a lot of upload credit. Also, keep seeding anything you're already downloaded, even if you don't want to keep the material for your own collection. I have some torrents that I downloaded years ago that occasionally get a hit from someone. Finally, if you have some material tat isn't already on this site, create a new torrent to upload, and that will get you a bunch of upload credit. If you don't have anything like that, I can put some on a cloud site that you can download from and then post here. Just send me a PM and we can work the mechanics off-line. (I hope this doesn't break any site rules.)

Why do torrents cost different amounts of seed bonus to make Freeleech?

@LostStoner: I'm kind of familiar with the seed bonus as far as how you earn it, and what you can spend it on. However I don't understand why one torrent will cost, 55.783 Seed bonus Points per day (2.324 points per hour) Meanwhile another torrent will cost, 1531.463 Seed bonus Points per day (63.811 points per hour). Can anyone explain why they cost different amounts? What is the amount based on/determined by? Or does the system randomly assign a Seed Bonus cost that isn't really based on anything? It's based on the size of the torrent. That's one of the reasons large collections are bad, because it costs so many seedbonus points to make them freeleech that almost no one would do so.

Thanks for any insight you can provide. I think you posted this question twice.  It's based on the size of the torrent.

I know that's why I said I made a mistake, or mistakenly thought it was my ratio when it wasn't.
