Files on site aren't green while seeding
-
Forgot to add, the upload and download icons are almost showing the exact correct count (only 2 off) for what I'm seeding, but there are at least 5+ files not highlighted green on the website that I've noticed.
-
@loco00079-0 I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to. Are you able to give us a screenshot of what you are referring to so maybe we could help explain it better?
Also, what torrent client and OS are you using?
-
@loco00079-0 Why don't you post a screenshot? Just press print PrintScreen and then press CTRL+V in the message text box, because what you're saying is super confusing, it doesn't really sound like anything.
-
The ones that aren't highlighted in green, did you download the full thing or did you opt not to download some of the files in them? If the whole thing wasn't downloaded then it will only ever be regarded as a partial or incomplete download and that could be what you're seeing.
-
To avoid confusion : and to make it SIMPLE ...
- SOLID GREEN - the torrent is 100% downloaded & completed/snatched ...
- LIGHT GREEN - file has been downloaded but has not been snatch ...
- GRAY - fresh or have not been downloaded ...
ex :

Now if you are co-seeder the torrent you are seeding will only result in LIGHT GREEN and you are counted as seeder [you do not have an option to vote category]
even if you you have 100 % percent files ...However what you're doing is discouraging members from uploading material here, especially if the uploader is struggling with their ratio.
Unless you downloaded some partial parts then will turn into SOLID GREEN [you have an option to vote for category] ...

I was going to mention the same thing. You're right about that.
Also, if people have only downloaded some of the files in a torrent, but not all of them, and are seeding what they downloaded, then they are going to be showing as still being leechers...even if they only have a partial download. -

Sorry...I meant to reply to frostycab's comment.

Apologies for the late response, they are appearing grey like the third one in this image despite me having fully downloaded it and started seeding.
-
@loco00079-0 If it is grey, most likely the torrent you downloaded is on freeleech ...
It will become solid green only if fully downloaded ...
Once freeleech elapse and you re-downloaded, it will become light green
and counted as download but never been snatched ...
Until you fully completed ...
[Then you have an option to vote for category] ... -

- Torrent will remain Grey only if you posted [your own] and downloaded in order to seed ...
These will change if you accidentally move or deleted some content and re-download [your own] material from other peers ...
