      Dear All,

I am searching for good Movie Editor software for MacBook. I have been trying iMovie in MacBook but i noticed the video clips quality becomes poor after editing.
Does anyone of you have better suggestion?
      Thanks for your help.

      regards

        You might try Avidemux.

Avidemux is cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux), FREE, open source, and powerful. It is not particularly user-friendly (IMHO). But, if you are willing to invest a little time learning the interface, it can give you good results.

And it is completely FREE and legal!

If you experience a drop in quality with iMovie, it's probably a matter of your settings being wrong.  iMovie in itself it very efficient in the process of transcoding and will only transcode where necessary.

Check your export settings as your first port of call.

You'd have to do some digging to find a cracked copy, but I would be inclined to recommend Final Cut Pro…. It's what I've used in the film industry while doing editing for many years now, with absolutely NO regrets.

The original poster was looking for an alternative to iMovie for movie editing software for the MacBook, and AVIDEMUX was suggested.

One may find AVIDEMUX at avidemux.sourceforge.net

                It's free and cross-platform.
