40 years - we were at school together when we became best mates

50 years, grew up together, was his best man when he got married, was there for him when it all went south, waiting to be asked to be best man again if he marries his current partner  ;D

I have 4 best friends.
1 has been my buddy for 33 years and we talk all the time.

Another has been my friends for going on 27 years and we talk all the time.
same goes for the other 2.
They know of each other, but they are all different.

I just like my friends, they replaced my family.

Since we were 12 so about 17 years now. He's the funniest person I know, I couldn't imagine not being friends with him. I practically lived at his house while we were at school together. I miss him now he's moved away so I don't see him as often, but he's settled down with a guy now so I'm glad he's happy.
