How long have you been best friends with your current best friend

We don't acknowledge ourselves as best friends, maybe it's because we aren't. But I've known IT for 5 years now.

I have 4 best friends.
1 has been my buddy for 33 years and we talk all the time.Another has been my friends for going on 27 years and we talk all the time.
same goes for the other 2.
They know of each other, but they are all different.I just like my friends, they replaced my family.

Wasn't sure how to calculate that, and I found the following on an old post …..
Here is a simple 3 step method to find out who your best friend REALLY is! This method will work, but one person might be a little mad at you for a while...
3 STEP PLAN
Step 1: Lock both your spouse and your dog in the trunk of the car.
Step 2: Wait 2-3 days.
Step 3: Open the trunk.
Which one is happy to see you??

Since we were 12 so about 17 years now. He's the funniest person I know, I couldn't imagine not being friends with him. I practically lived at his house while we were at school together. I miss him now he's moved away so I don't see him as often, but he's settled down with a guy now so I'm glad he's happy.
