I'm unable to get upload the torrent created by Transmission on gaytorrent's upload page; it says I have the wrong (or no) definition.

@ricknyc That's kind of strange because we usually recommend Transmission for a Mac. Our second recommendation is flox. Both work with MacOS

@ricknyc The latest version of Transmission has an issue with creating torrent files that I don't have the technical knowledge to understand! But it means that they may not be read correctly by other clients. I switched to qBittorrent and it's been working without any issues for me on an M1 Mac running OS 12.5.

I use qBittorrent and have managed to create, upload, and download on my Mac quite easily.

@ricknyc Thanks for the replies. Could my VPN have anything to do with the issue? Does anyone use a VPN? I'm trying again tonight.

@ricknyc This is likely as our tracker requires that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded through the VPN to your computer in order to get proper upload traffic. If this port is not forwarded, you may experience all kinds of problems trying to get any upload traffic.
