My ISP does so every few weeks if I leave my connection to the VPN server up too long. My solution is that I change my VPN server every weekend. I haven't been throttled (other than when I forget to swap servers) in almost 2 years now.
If you don't use a VPN (and you should... you REALLY should!), change the ports you're using in your torrent client. (This isn't necessary if you're using/changing VPN servers - your ISP won't have visibility to your port.)
Very OT for this thread, but do you ever lose credit for seeding after you change your VPN server and thus IP? I use a VPN all the time as well (would be terrified of my ISP seeing lots of torrent traffic!) but I've occasionally seeded something and then found the uploaded data seemingly wasn't 'seen' by the Rationator.

@2127493739 Your situation may well be valid, but as you noted, off-topic. In the larger sense, isn't knowing it's OT the best reason not to proceed and find a better recourse?
If you're concerned enough to write here (apropos of very little), then certainly it would be more productive for you to contact the Helpdesk with examples, or start a targeted thread for your issue.

ROFL - a DUMB straight boy! (Is he blonde?)
WRT: uploading from different IPs... know that your uploads are tracked by your user ID - which is tied into your tracker connection. The tracker uses this ID, not your IP address - which is why you can seed from multiple IPs and get credit for all of it!

not sostraight young man have a lot to deal with and your poor internet quality or lack of ability to lure him is not one of them. -
@ianfontinell I am using a $6000 computer, with 3 screens.. and an internet connection of 500 M. Is that not enough to access this site?

@lololulu19 I'm a grown ass man, I'm not here to troll anyone. I always check the forum and reply to the recent threads, I can't help it if you alone created a dozen posts in the last days. My feedbacks are very insightful, if you don't understand what I said maybe you should ask for some tips instead of creating a dozen posts complaining about stuff you don't even know how they work.
