I find it interesting, curious and sad that the young man has such limited access to porn!

Perhaps he doesn't have the financial means to afford a porn website membership, but there are near-infinite amounts of free, straight (and other) porn on torrent sites like 1337 and rar. bg, to name only a few.

And even though sites like redtube or tube8 have deleted a lot of clips, there are still terabytes available. How is the poor lad so devoid of porn options?

Getting into the gold mine of gay porn such as this site and a couple of others is extremely difficult. I briefly lost my account here because I expressed my hatred of scat and prolapsed rectums and simulated snuff films. Someone took offense that I was critical of what they liked. I was lucky to have my account reactivated. During the time I was deactivated, it seems that there are no more invitations being given out. Also remember that veteran porn connisseurs such as you and I are proficient with COMPUTERS. These kids these days.. have abandon computers and do everything with their smart phones - which is like trying to dig a trench with a teaspoon.

Not just kids, I for one only use my PC for work related matters whereas I do my gt.rent moderator's duty in my mobile, much more convenient for me.

This is an age where almost everyone depends on their iphones and androids.

If you don't use a VPN (and you should... you REALLY should!), change the ports you're using in your torrent client. (This isn't necessary if you're using/changing VPN servers - your ISP won't have visibility to your port.)

Very OT for this thread, but do you ever lose credit for seeding after you change your VPN server and thus IP? I use a VPN all the time as well (would be terrified of my ISP seeing lots of torrent traffic!) but I've occasionally seeded something and then found the uploaded data seemingly wasn't 'seen' by the Rationator.

@2127493739 Your situation may well be valid, but as you noted, off-topic. In the larger sense, isn't knowing it's OT the best reason not to proceed and find a better recourse?

If you're concerned enough to write here (apropos of very little), then certainly it would be more productive for you to contact the Helpdesk with examples, or start a targeted thread for your issue.

WRT: uploading from different IPs... know that your uploads are tracked by your user ID - which is tied into your tracker connection. The tracker uses this ID, not your IP address - which is why you can seed from multiple IPs and get credit for all of it!

@lololulu19 first off, your vent (probably) would end up being more fruitful on reddit rather than here. That said, I think that that ~~not so~~ straight young man have a lot to deal with and your poor internet quality or lack of ability to lure him is not one of them.

My feedbacks are very insightful, if you don't understand what I said maybe you should ask for some tips instead of creating a dozen posts complaining about stuff you don't even know how they work.
