What really bothers mean is these country clerks that let their people cite religious reasons for not issuing same sex marriage licenses. If the state has legalized same sex marriages or it has been legalized then no matter what the clerks should have to do their jobs and issue the license. Their religious beliefs should never come into play since they are not working for themselves. The same holds true for any employee. Their beliefs do not come into play while working. If their employer has no issue with with same sex marriages then while they are working they have no issue with it as well. If people do not want to do their job because of their religious beliefs then they should no longer have that job.

Basically it's the straight homophobes that talk funny because they forcibly dissuade themselves from adopting speech or vocal patterns utilized by half the population
