@Frederick: Anchorman Scott Pelley suggested that Republican Congressman Steve Scalise's gunshot wound that left him in critical condition was self inflicted. I guess the media is only allowed to make these sort of implications so long as the person who was shot is black. Media: Martin Shooting Was "Self-Inflicted" by Benjy Sarlin and Aliyah Frumin of MSNBC July 19, 2013 A number of media personalities have vicariously described Trayvon Martin's death by gunshot as being self-inflicted, in that he invited trouble the night he was shot and killed by dressing like some sort of street criminal. Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera said Martin’s hoodie was "as much responsible" for the teen’s death as Zimmerman was because Rivera believed it was associated with law-breaking young black men. Before Zimmerman's acquittal Rivera said “I was right about the hoodie, wasn’t I?” on Fox and Friends. “I hate to brag, but I got criticized by every pundit in America when I said Trayvon Martin would be alive today but for the fact that he was wearing thug wear. He was wearing the hoodie. Turns out now that we look at George Zimmerman’s interviews with the police; he didn’t profile Trayvon Martin because he was black, he profiled him because he was wearing a hoodie.” Televangelist Pat Robertson said that Zimmerman was right to tail the “fully-formed young African-American male” the night he was killed because other criminals had been seen “wearing these hoods.” These sentiments have been offered in print as well, most recently in the Washington Post, courtesy of Richard Cohen. In entertainment media, musician and National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent declared in a column for conservative website Rare.us that Martin was a “dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe” who was responsible for his own “bad decisions.”

He's just lucky Trump didn't turn around, or that fan would never see sunshine again.  Not that our President is anti-gay, but he hates to be upstaged.

Trump is the most "hopeful" person I know.  He "hoped" Comey would drop the Flynn investigation.  "Comey had better not 'hope' that there are 'tapes".  You also need to read up on history.  While taping was common in the White House from Kennedy to Nixon, Watergate put an end to the practice for obvious reasons.  That is why there was such a stir over Trump's suggestion that they might exist. And why did he wait 6 weeks to deny their existence?–-apparently he was amused by all the press attention to the matter.  I prefer a president who tells us the truth promptly and does not get his jollies from throwing out innuendo.  What will happen when there is a real crisis?  We will have to wait for Rex Tillerson or General Mattis or any ot the other "grown-ups" in the cabinet before we believe a word from Donal Trump.  His track record is just too poor for anything else. You say I'm sniffing glue, but you are drinking Kool-Aid.  Good Luck with that.

@sutieday: Do note that Communism is not dead in Russia. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) is one of the largest political parties in Russia. As of 2015, there are 570,000 members of the Communist Party in Russia.. that is not a whole lot considering the population of Russia is 144 million people.. that's 144,000,000 people..  they have been out of power for the last 26 years. We all have our crosses to bear.  The USA is stuck with the Democratic Party, which is about 50% of the country, and they have only been out of power for 7 months.    (And the economy is now at an all time high!…  Trump is taking on the moonbats and winning.. so hold on tight.. let the fight.. begin!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFurkDf6WXg

I completely agree on the main point. I haven't looked into "pizza-gate" but it seemed fake to me.  But that's not the point.  No one has the right to do what the gunman did.

@aadam101: I've been saying this for months.  The only thing that conservatives don't like about ObamaCare is the name (despite the fact that they gave it that name). ObamaCare has always been their plan.  Obama stole it from them.  They can't do any better.  They are not smart enough. Even ultra conservatives like Mark Levin acknowledge this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5–r82iNxQ Assuming that what YOU say is correct.. that the bill is 95% Obamacare.. just how many democrats do ou suppose will be voting for it?

@Frederick: Otto Warmbier, the student who went to North Korea as part of a group of tourists.. and was imprisoned for stealing a poster from his hotel.. tortured, and remained in a coma for over a year.. and returned to the USA days ago.. has died. Imagine in hotels in the USA did that to people who stole towels! Something I wonder about.. Why was there a camera pointed at the poster in that hotel. Why did the people in the hotel report such a petty theft?

@pppucci: Hard to comment since you give no clue about what the story is about.  The only thing I can offer is that major news outlets often rely on news services for their reporting, especially in other countries.  It is usually attributed such as AP, UPI or Rueters.  More details? Oh.. I see what you are saying.  Yes, reporters used to rely heavily upon information from AP, UPI or Rueters.    What I am referring to is quite different.  Reporters at one horrible news outlet copying information from reporters at another horrible news outlet (or even from within the same news outlet).  Sort of like the National Examiner getting their information from the National Enquirer.  "Yes, the government has captured a dozen aliens from a crashed UFO.  10 of them were 9 foot tall bigfoots, led by a clone of Hitler, and the captain of the ship was the real Elvis - who is not dead!  We got this story from the Weekly World News.. so it MUST be true!" The story I am referencing would take too long to explain.  The story itself is not relevant to this topic.  It takes place in Canada.  Very few people are aware of this, but most of the media in Canada is controlled by FRANCE!  Their biggest news outlet, which has a veritable monopoly on the media in Canada - is the TVA - which is owned by France!

I'm actually a classic liberal, but I refuse to call myself a liberal due to the bullshit identity politics we've seen over the last 15 or so years. Also, as an egalitarian, I despise feminism.

You and I both left out 9.67% from our figures. I think these 9.67 are "Non inscrits." but these number changed as now there are 8 sieges for FN instead of 6 firstly announced.

@sutieday: @raphjd: Oh the irony. It's liberals who claim they are on the right side of history, just like ISIS. It's liberals who cover their faces to "protest", dressing just like ISIS. It's liberals, just like ISIS, who do not have a problem with using violence to get their way. The bigotry of raphjd in this post is astounding. He's being bigoted in this post and here is my justification: Thinks all Muslims are terrorists (ISIS) Thinks all liberals are the same and violent (ISIS) Does not denounced violence against Muslims (even by other Muslims) Not open to new ideas of reason; just trolls (Alt-right is alright) I've traveled the world and experienced various cultures and beliefs, and I really think that by doing this you can get a better understanding of people and ideas, and break down the barrier of bigotry. You are really pushing your luck by mis-stating someone else's comments.   No where did he mention muslims.    he was comparing the mindset of liberals to members of ISIS.   Certainly all members of ISIS are terrorists.. it's a terrorist organization. The mere act of putting the label of ISIS upon this group of people is denouncing them.. since that is the name of a terrorist organization.   You say he is "not open to new ideas of reason".  That sounds just like Sheik Obama who spent 8 years placating, rewarding, and appeasing terrorists. This reminds me of the old Tootsie Pop commercial where the boy asks Mr. Owl how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.  The owl starts licking   "One.. twooooo.. threeee.. CRUNCH!"   You are on your way to CRUNCH!   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtEPkRK1tlo

Despite massive, overwhelming, record breaking, leftist support for her opponent Jon Ossoff,  Karen Handel defeated him. That brings the liberals to 0 wins and 5 losses in the 5 special elections since Trump became president. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/21/georgia-special-election-gop-boasts-democrats-are-0-5-in-special-house-races.html
