@Frederick: If the illegals are so afraid.. why don't the go back to the country they came from?  They are here ILLEGALLY! For many of  them it's much scarier where they came from.  They just come here to work and make a living and keep their head down. I suppose that isn't the case for all of them though.  An illegal immigrant was just deported from Boston.  He had been here for many years.  He worked and was well respected in the community.  This is the case for a lot of people but this man was a bit different in terms of what we normally hear about.  He is IRISH.  Apparently there are 6000 illegal Irish immigrants living in my state and 50K nationwide.  I have no idea why they would choose to overstay their Visas.  I have no idea what the immigration process entails  for someone from Ireland but it must not be all that easy.

There has been zero evidence of collusion or any wrongdoing on #45's behalf, yet he's constantly trying to discredit the investigations that are ongoing. Russia meddled in our 2016 election, as they've done in other countries. The vast majority of Republicans and Democrats are actually on the same page with respect to that fact. Our president and some of his cabinet members (with the exception of UN Ambassador Nikki Haley) are still pushing back against something that not only both parties have reached consensus on, but so has the overwhelming majority of Americans. The American president is going against the overwhelming majority of the American people on this issue. No evidence has been provided showing he did anything wrong, yet he is going against the very people he is supposed to represent. Why is he doing this and how long does he think he has before this whole thing goes deeper?

I don't think Trump has actually ran his company in a very long time.  He is a failed businessman several times over.  I believe the actual running of the company was taken away from him a long time ago and he is merely the spokesman.  He claims to have a "real estate" empire but he doesn't actually own much.  He just lends his name to the buildings because people are fooled into thinking his name is synonymous with luxury. That being said, your point remains.  He is in a position to enrich himself although it's not that different from what Congress does.  They routinely engage in insider trading which isn't illegal in Congress.  They all leave Congress as millionaires.

Being unpopular has never bothered Republicans.  The only way they win elections is via gerrymandering, fraud or manipulation of their feeble minded voters.

Your cynicism is unappreciated. There is no controversy here for liberals, conservatives, muslims Mexicans or illegals. The accused will stand trial.  If convicted he will be sentenced. When, (if ever) he completes his sentence, he will be deported.  We do not deport convicted criminals. To do so would be tantamount to releasing them without punishment. How could you even think that there would be a shred of doubt in this case.  Or were you making a snide joke?

If it was on YouTube, it would have been caught, just like they did with CNN. CNN still downplayed her message, in the "corrected" reporting. CNN had an agenda in the way they originally edited and reported the story. They only "fixed" it because they got caught, not because it was the honest thing to do.

@pppucci: The argument made by the former AG is ridiculous.  If it were true that a statement by the president of support for a person under investigation, than not only would Obama be guilty, but Trump would be guilty ten-fold.  How many times has he said that Michael Flynn was good guy who was treated unfairly?  How many times has he stated there was no collusion?  How many times has he called the Russia investigation a hoax?  If that is not "signalling" the Justice Department as to how he wants the investigation to turn out? We all know that if the FBI determined that Hillary should be indicted and Loretta Lynch refused to, that information would have been leaked, or Comey himself would have made a statement Second..

At first, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a breaking news alert on my phone that Trump had brought up the issue with Puitin.  I was at work and couldn't read more. In diplomacy, words are chosen very carefully and every word counts. Tillerson said. "The President brought up the concerns of the American people regarding Russian meddling in our electoral process.  Putin denied it." Then the Russian side claimed that Trump had accepted Putin's denial.  A White House "source" said that it wasn't true, but neither Tillerson nor Trump has made a follow-up statement.  Trump did not hold a news conference at the end of the summit.

@mhorndisk: I just want to briefly say that I believe the issue of agriculture is something to be discussed regarding policies that affect politics, as our lawmakers work with such agencies as the USDA, especially since global warming is a big piece of it. I didn't necessarily bring that piece in originially, because I knew it would come about. If you like to eat chicken, like some of you have stated, so does Trump, and I don't hate either of you for it. I do believe that it is better for our bodies to stop shoveling meat into our mouths (unless it's cock of course) so much, it is better for the environment, and it is the leading cause of environmental destruction. I also have been critical of Leonardo DiCaprio and other Limousine Liberals on here. So here I will agree with the liberal side on this, and not so much with Trump. That's all I wanted to say. I can't even say something that shows I'm not necessarily your enemy without being ganged up on, so I am going to focus on other stuff because it really seems kinda pointless. Nobody ganged up on you dude.  If you had brought up the agriculture/global warming aspect no one would have protested its presence on this board.  The other jokes were about the subject in general and not made at your expense.  It didn't help that this was one of the umpteenth in a day, including some with very inflammatory titles.  I think you will find your posts better received if you keep them fewer and focused.  Otherwise, the human reaction is to tune out.
