@aadam101: All of your views on healthcare lead me to believe you really want single payer. I agree, it does seem like they want a single payer system.

@aadam101: You have to admit.  This is pretty creepy. There are some incredible connections to be made to the first family of the United States and Lockwood’s novels from the turn of the 19th century. For starters, the main character’s name is the same as President Donald Trump’s son, albeit spelt differently. Trump’s adventures begin in Russia, and are guided thanks to directions provided by "the master of all masters," a man named "Don."….... ......But by Lockwood’s third novel, The Last President, things become even more eerily linked to the present day. The story begins with a scene from a panicked New York City in early November, describing a "state of uproar" after the election of an enormously opposed outsider candidate. "The entire East Side is in a state of uproar," police officers shouted through the streets, warning city folk to stay indoors for the night. "Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of anarchists and socialists, and threaten to plunder and despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years." "The Fifth Avenue Hotel will be the first to feel the fury of the mob," the novel continues, citing an address in New York City where Trump Tower now stands. "Would the troops be in time to save it?" http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-predicted-ingersoll-lockwood-adventures-barron-melania-last-644284 It looks like Trump may have been inspired by those books, and perhaps picked his boy's name from it. I wouldn't make too much of it though.  For instance.. people in NYC are hardly oppressed. It is interesting, and that third book is only 68 pages long.  Too boring for me to read though.  Not once in that book do they use the word "cock" or "twink".  There are also some Nostradamus passages that indicate that Trump would defeat Hillary.

You can thank Thurston Howell III (i.e. John Kerry) for driving up the cost of healthcare in MA.  One of his last acts as Senator was to STEAL $300 million from the rest of the country by classifying a tiny 19 bed hospital on Nantucket as a "rural hospital."  This stripped away Medicare funding to all of the other rural hospitals in the country and gave it to the super rich hospitals like Mass General.  It's more complicated than I can explain.  Google "The Nantucket Effect".  Our healthcare system is completely crazy when a tiny little 19 bed hospital located on an island for the super rich can have that much of an impact on the entire healthcare system.  The name of the hospital is "Nantucket Cottage Hospital" because  it's literally located inside of a cottage. Now to be fair these four states do a sizable amount of medical research for the entire world.  These things cost money.  People come from all over the world to go to Mass General, Brigham and Women's and Boston Children's Hospital.

Hillary will never be prosecuted. It's time for you to get over it. Trump told us he isn't going to investigate her. He LIED to you.

@ryn: The faster we get to a sense of normality where politics is about substantive policy debates and economics, the better.  Sadly it seems the only chance to escape this ridiculous political theater is in 2018/2020. Oh.. I don't think it will take that long.  I would give 50/50 odds that Obamacare will be replaced this month… I would also say that a massive tax cut will pass in November. The election was like a lightning strike right to Hillary's petrified vagina.  The democrats have been running around like a load of chickens with their heads cut off since then.  Instead of accepting the results of the election, and moving on, they have doubled down and refused to  accept the results of the election - and are making fools of themselves.

@Frederick: @aadam101: Trump has done nothing to help the economy.  The only REAL job announcements that have been made are from Walmart and Amazon (warehouses).  These are very expensive jobs for taxpayers.  Walmart employees alone use $6 billion in public assistance every year.  Bezos and the Waltons are just a bunch of welfare queens. I tend to not be as tough on Bezos because Amazon also has a lot of good paying jobs in other areas of the company. Trump has made a lot of fake job announcements. He announced that he saved Carrier and then they layed off 600  workers.  Then he announced he saved Boeing and they layed off 200 workers.  Then Microsoft layed off 2000 workers.  Then Macys…..and JCPenney.....and Kmart.......and Sears.......and many other retailers. FoxConn is just a big lie.  They have made these announcements before.  Here is one from 2013.  It never happened.  It was never built. http://money.cnn.com/2013/11/22/technology/foxconn-plant/index.html The economy is booming since the election, but you never hear the media talking about it.   And.. one of my predictions has already come true…   Reince Prieubus is GONE.   Look for Sessions to go next. Let's see about your other predictions..

The more I think about this the more I believe that this is all staged by the GOP.  We all know that ObamaCare is the Republican plan. It was written by conservatives, it includes a ton of market based conservative ideas and it was implemented by a very conservative Governor. They backed themselves into a corner 7 years ago when they started to rallied against their own plan. So how on earth can keep their plan in place while still pretending to be against it? They asked a dying Senator to put on this show and give a thumbs up and later a thumbs down.  Now Republican voters have a scapegoat to blame and the Republicans get what they want while getting their voters to let them off the hook.  McCain won't get another term anyway.  It's the perfect plan.

@Frederick: @aadam101: The Dow rose from 6500 to a record 19500 under Obama. Also according to Breitbart, Obama lowered food stamp usage dramatically.  By the end of his administration it was at a 7 year low. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/07/20/food-stamp-use-falls-lowest-level-seven-years/ You consistently misrepresent the articles you refer to.  You seem to forget that Sheik Obama was occupying the White House for EIGHT years..  and during his regime, Food Stamp Enrollment hit a record high peak of 47.6 million people  (it was 28 million when Bush left office).  Also, the amount of $$$ per recipient has dropped considerably… which is horrible.  So, the people who do need benefits are getting LESS.  I know of people who used to get $200 a month that Obama cut to $15 a month.    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/02/19-million-more-americans-on-food-stamps-despite-low-unemployment-rate/ You've also lied about the DOW.  The DOW has gone from 18,500 on election day - when Trump was elected.. to a record 21,891.. an increase of 3,391 just since Trumps election.. and a staggering 18% increase in just the 9 months since Trump's election! You should look at the chart in the link in the article that I posted where it clearly shows the number of people on food stamps going down under Obama.

But doesn't Trump put himself out there for ridicule?  Look at the way he behaves?  He told police to "rough up" people they were arresting! Police brutality is a serious issue in this country.  Nobody benefits from cops acting like jerks. If he behaved like a civil human being there would be far fewer attacks.

@aadam101: I don't know if it will get you out of the military.  I suppose it may depend on how bad you want out.  I had a friend who was going to join the air force about 15 years ago.  He was 18 and was lost.  He changed his mind after he was well into the enlistment process and went to his recruiter and told him he was gay.  The recruiter didn't care.  He was still going to let him join. Transphobia is probably a little more prevalent that homophobia though. This isn't a real policy anyway and Trump knows it.  He is embarrassed because he is failing on healthcare and he needed a distraction.  Usually he pounds on immigrants because they are easy targets and he is a cowardly man.  Today he chose to pick on an even smaller and weaker group.  This policy will never hold up in court.  He even waited until Rex Tillerson went on vacation so he doesn't have to face him. Trump's plan.. ;D

@aadam101: Obviously Trump will sign the bill.  He was very angry a few weeks ago that so called President Obama did nothing about Russian hacking.  I'm so glad we have a real President in charge now who will take care of these things.  He won't let Russia push us around like that pussy Obama did…...right? I am not sure yet..

@Frederick: Actually.. the ACA was not Obama's invention.. but Hillary's.  When Hillary was the first lady under President Bill Clinton, she came up with a socialized healthcare plan, and she was laughed at by both Republicans and Democrats. Trump is going to have a massive number of new supporters who are currently being forced to purchase healthcare who will no longer be required to buy it. Hillary's healthcare plan was very different from ObamaCare.  ObamaCare is based off a plan from the Conservative Heritage Foundation think tank.  The plan was kicked around in Congress by REPUBLICANS for a couple of decades.  It was always their plan. Then Governor Romney faced with huge healthcare costs due to the amount of uncompensated care given to "freeloaders" as he called them took the plan and implemented it in Massachusetts.  Before RomneyCare (and later ObamaCare) people could just go to the ER and never pay the bill.  Those costs were forced onto taxpayers and people who had insurance.  RomneyCare and ObamaCare ensured that everybody paid something even if it was just a fine. Romney campaigned against his own healthcare plan when he ran for President which was a huge mistake and likely cost him the election.  It seemed like such a big deal back then.  Now we have a President who is against stuff he was for just five minutes ago.

Do you want to see Samuel L Jackson fuck John Goodman?  lol The Purge is a movie set in a world where crime has been totally eradicated except for one day per year. All crime is legal, including murder.  This is one reason why I hate that the President has a child working in the White House.  Ivanka could literally became a serial killer and get away with it (not that I think she would).

The contractors I am referring to are the insurers that Trump is threatening to take away CSR payments to next year.  This will ensure that premiums skyrocket and the sickest Americans will not be able to get healthcare.  Many will die. BTW, if ObamaCare is imploding why does he need to smash it's head?  I thought it was going to implode all on it's own?  Perhaps that was another lie…... Everybody know Trump knows absolutely nothing about healthcare.  Just last week he was telling us that a young person could get health insurance for $12 per month.  Like most issues, he is clueless.

@Frederick: @spam17: I never expected such high costs for administrative costs by a country like the US.. :cheesy2: Especially now that just about everything is automated, paperless, and computerized. That's what you think!  Healthcare providers are still using FAX machines!
