The 1st person in the US to own chattel slaves was a black man, Anthony Johnson. He himself was originally an indentured servant who did well for himself after his indentured servitude ended.
Slavery in Africa and the middle east have been going on for a few thousand years and hasn't stopped.

I think we need to destroy everything promoting black people in the US, since it was a black man that started chattel slavery in the US.

The amazing this about history in the minds of the typical conservative, is it is actually just nostalgia for a past that on careful analysis, never actually existed.
Take for example the confederate statues. I read that most of them were put up relatively recently in another burst of conservative nostalgia for a non-existent mono-cultural past that is the typical conservative nut job fantasy world.
They certainly don't date back to the US civil war and they don't represent any real history. They merely represent conservative fantasies.

Oh just heard another conservative fantasy statue at Duke university has been removed. I think this justifies medicinal cannabis for conservatives. It is so traumatic to have their fantasies about the past so rudely ripped away.

They hate the fact that the Torah, Bible and Quran all allowed slavery, both chattel and indentured. I understand that they hate the torah and bible, but they love the quran.
They hate the fact that the 1st chattel slave owner was a former indentured slave and black man. He felt that offspring of his indentured servants were his permanent property (aka chattel slaves).
