@royalcrown89: @Frederick: @royalcrown89: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/27/nyregion/justice-department-gays-workplace.html?action=Click&contentCollection=BreakingNews&contentID=65627985&pgtype=Homepage Is it really surprising after the "#45 supports LGBTQ individuals" lie that this administration does not support us? Why is the president not taking up for us now? Why is he not defending us from what Jeff Sessions wants to do? If he needs a reason to fire Sessions, shouldn't this be it? Or has this president once again shown he's a coward and a liar? Who supports this? Who wants to see other gays lose their jobs, benefits, etc. just because they are gay or if their employer assumes they are gay? Yet another indefensible action by this president and his administration. Here we go again… On the one hand.. people are complaining that Sessions is attacking gays.. While on the other hand.. people are attacking Trump for criticizing Sessions and warning him not to fire Sessions. This is exactly the same two-faced logic that reared it's head with firing James Cumonme. Didn't the president say he was going to be a president that stands up for LGBT individuals? Did he not make the promise that he would not let his administration discriminate against LGBT individuals? He is a coward and a liar like I said. If he was a man of his word, he would come out and say "AG Sessions is WRONG to file motions with ANY court to make the legal argument for discriminating against LGBT individuals." He has not been saying that and you are wrong for attempting to twist my point. The president has been criticizing AG Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia collusion investigation, not for being a disgusting bigot. The longer the president remains silent on this, the more he himself is going to come off as a disgusting bigot. He says he's done with Sessions, then he needs to prove it. Come out against what Sessions is trying to do to LGBT individuals, not just about Sessions recusing himself. Like I said before,  Trump gets attacked for what Session does.. and Trump also gets attacked for criticizing what Sessions does.  Trump is being threatened with catastrophic mutiny if he fires Sessions.  Expect Sessions to resign soon.

So, where are the feminist groups on this?!    The silence is deafening. We had the feminist riot/near riot over a discussion about male suicide and we had Chanty Binx and her lot pull the fire alarm to prevent a discussion on male specific health issues. Yeah yeah, I know, feminists are great and anyone who disagrees is evil.  Never question feminism/feminists is the left's dogma.

People, like my father and his 2nd wife, wind up "purchasing" babies from other countries when they are designated to be UNFIT to be parents in the USA. All you need is some cunt of a social worker and you're declared unfit. We had this problem and fought it and won.  It still didn't fix anything because the city adoption agency said they couldn't work with us because they didn't feel we would trust them anymore. Lose - lose situation.

It doesn't.  In one version of the bill (I don't know which one. There are so many I can't keep them straight) you had to pay a HUGE surcharge on your premium if you allowed your insurance to lapse.  Basically the government would tell you that you don't have to buy insurance but then if you got sick they would charge you a LOT moe money.  On what planet does that make sense?  A lot of sick people can't work or can't work as much. Anyway, it doesn't matter.  Once again Trump has FAILED.  He is a huge loser.  He loses more than anybody! I've said this many times. Republicans love ObamaCare.  It was always their plan.  Obama stole it and they are mad at him for it.  ObamaCare takes all of the best market based conservative ideas and rolls them into a health law.  Any other plan that covers all Americans has to be more left leaning.  ObamaCare is as far right as you can go. Republicans have three options. 1. Take coverage away from people and kill Americans 2. Leave ObamaCare as it is 3. Repeal and replace it with something more left leaning. Their best option is #2. There is no doubt in my mind that If John McCain won in 2008 we would be in this exact same position today with the exact same healthcare plan.  The only difference would be that Democrats would be crying for repeal and replacing it with single payer.

So why is Trump talking about pardoning himself?  You think he wants to pardon himself from something he didn't do?

I don't think you understand how the free press works. Governor LePage admitted a couple weeks ago that he leaks information to the press that isn't true just to mess with them.  Do you really think Trump doesn't do this?  He has been doing that for DECADES.  He used to call Page Six and pretend to be other people!

Scaramucci began his career at Goldman Sachs , where he worked from 1989 to 1996 and held positions in its Investment Banking, Equities, and Private Wealth Management divisions. Scaramucci left Goldman in 1996 to launch Oscar Capital Management with his colleague Andrew Boszhardt. In 2005, Scaramucci founded global investment firm SkyBridge Capital , serving as co-managing partner before selling the company in early 2017 to take a role in the Trump administration. Following the 2016 election, Scaramucci served on the Presidential-Transition Team Executive Committee. On January 12, 2017, President-elect Trump announced his intent to appoint Scaramucci Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs . Scaramucci's swearing-in was reportedly delayed by an extended review of his finances by the Office of Government Ethics , although the ethics office denied that clearance was necessary before making White House appointments. Ultimately, George Sifakis was appointed instead.

@aadam101: I'd be more interested in seeing the laptops of the Trump children.  Jr already lied to the FBI and I'm sure he is preparing his lies for next weeks Congress testimony. Lies about what? If you are talking about some nonsensical worthless meeting.. go plant your turnip in a minefield. How about that 30 minute private meeting that Bill Clinton had with Attorney General Loretta Lynch?   Why don't you bitch about that for a change? "It's not an investigation.. it's a matter".. pfffftt!!!

If socialized medicine is no better when it comes to death panels, then why demand the US switch? Umm, without private insurance, waiting times in the UK are very long.  Hospitals and clinics come up with creative ways to help meet targets, such as giving people appointments, then cancelling them and labelling the person as "socially unavailable", meaning they don't want to come it because it interferes with their lifestyle and whatnot. Umm, you are being dishonest.  Your link is about specialists, not normal GPs. Also, you ignored the bit where they said that part of the reason waiting times are getting longer is because pretty much everyone has health insurance now under Obamacare. In the UK (last month I think), the news full of articles about not having enough dermatologists to meet demand, so appointments are nearly impossible to get.  The same goes for countless other specialties. If I didn't have private insurance, I would have died a decade ago due to a mismanaged ear infection that was raging and causing extreme pain, but the NHS system wasn't designed to deal with it. I also have permanent nerve damage in both hands because it took so long to get referred when the NHS was telling GPs not to refer people unless absolutely needed.  In fact, they were giving GPs bonus payments for reducing the number of people they refer to specialists. As a bass player, it really sucks having reduced use of my hands and hearing.  All caused by the NHS. +++++ Another thing that makes the NHS suck ass, is that under the law, it's nearly impossible to sue for even the most blatant malpractice.

@aadam101: Once again, Donald Trump has been defeated.  His plan to gut the EPA is dead.  He wanted to cut it by 32%.  Congress is only allowing a 6.5% cut. SAD! http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2017/07/trumps-big-plan-for-a-tiny-epa-is-already-dead/ Trump seems to have power and a lot of enemies!
