@raphjd: The fact that someone came back after watching the video and gave you more SB, is an extremely rare thing. I can't speak for others, but I can assure you that I have returned to torrent listings to give seedbonus points after viewing videos. Am I that atypical? I have no way of knowing.

Uploading a torrent is quite some work, I don't see why someone should do, to then not wanting to finish the job. Rather than punishment, the first action should be to make the uploader aware that something is wrong and to propose help In the same sense, every uploader facing unexpected trouble in finish it's upload should contact the Staff (e.g. on the HelpDesk) to see what can bee done. In a first case it could be moved away from the public list, avoiding new leecher to join until a solution and in the worst to delete it.

@cumeaternc: Here is a sample of what I would send to a "super seeder": Dear [you], First off thank you for choosing my torrent upload as material you wish to snatch from the tracker. The problem is that I am trying to work on my ratio and your upload speed is so much faster than mine that many leechers are getting more content from you than they are me(the original uploader).  Is it possible that you "throttle" your upload speed until I can fully upload my torrent?  If you are not sure how to do this, the support forums have several guides on how to configure many of the popular torrent clients. Thanks for understanding & thanks for sharing! Best Regards, The Uploader This doesn't have to be the be all end all message but you could tweak it to fit you needs. i doubt anyone would ever claim my speed was taking away from their torrent ratio. lol i get 100k upload when all my other torrents are off at best hahahaha

@tjm7077: Spintendo, you can still do this if you use utorrent. It's in the 'peers' tab down at the bottom. Granted, you have to actually connect to the torrent to see the details, but it's not as if you have to keep downloading it if you don't like the stats — just stop the torrent and/or delete it. Actually, this will not give you the complete list unfortunately. Using the "Peers" tab will only provide you with a list of the peers for which you are presently connected. Depending on the torrent, it may not always be possible to connect to all of the peers in the swarm for a number of possible reasons. Again as I said, although it is gone for now, this does not necessarily mean that it will be forever that way. I cannot say for sure as there is no set plan, however it is something that can be discussed among the staff as a possibility to implement in a slightly different manner.

It appears that there may have been a glitch in the system not showing that you're seeding it. This can happen from time to time. The good news however is that the torrent is listed as visible, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about from this point forward.

Because of other things going on, there may not be any huge site updates coming up. Until then you can always PM a staff member and let us know what DVD torrent you intend to create and upload. Any of us would be happy to check for you. Just click on the Staff link at the top of the page. Look for a mod with a green light and click the PM button beside it.

I like others archive them on DVDs and then I record all the videos I have that are 100MB or larger in a spreadsheet. I list the title, year, company, DVD number and genre. I also label the DVDs by number to make a video easy to find. As far as the torrent files themselves, I just tuck them in a "data" directory on my computer in case I cannot redownload it from the tracker. [off-topic] One thing worth noting is that you can seed a torrent you did not downloaded "here" if you found an exact copy elsewhere. The only time this is acceptable though is when a torrent has been fully seeded or it is dead and you can bring it back to life. You will credit for your seeded traffic and SBP for the time you are seeding it here. Just in case you ever needed help with your ratio. [/off-topic]

@JazJon: Speaking of graphic design…...... Can someone look into finding a better "Bareback" Icon/Logo/Badge for bareback torrent files? It looks like some creepy mustache daddy straight out of 1970.     (gives me the "ewww" factor every time I see it) The hot mostly twink bareback videos shared here do not reflect such a strange image. It doesn't so much bother me that the image seems dated (well maybe a little); it just doesn't suggest/portray "bareback". The condom with the universal NO symbol would have been a much better choice for the category. How about an art contest to update all the banners? There must be some artsy folks around, no?
