You are correct… The scat category is a unique category that a fair base of our users do not want to see. For this reason, we have made it an "optional" category. To be able to view this category, simply click on your username in the top left corner of the page, then click "Profile Settings". On the profile settings page, uncheck "Turn off Scat categories", then click "Submit Changes" at the bottom of the page. Once you do this, you will be able to see this category again.

@Popper: d) Often we see pictures multiple times or from a previous upload. This might be due to QTM not clearing the picture list after an (failed) upload. Thanks Popper for this explanation as this has happened to me an I thought it was my error not QTM but it does seem to happen to me after QTM fails to complete the upload so now I know! :thankyou:

Also, if you stumble across SCAT torrents that we have missed and are still in the fetish category, either copy the URL and send it to helpdesk explaining that it's scat not in the scat category, or you can scroll to the bottom and click "Report" to flag it as scat not in the scat category to bring it to our attention so that we can make it conform to the scat category.

@obras62: I would think that it would be Friday night to Sunday evening as most would have the time to leave the uploading and downloading on. I Agree

There is no intention of making QTM open source, for the reasons stated in other posts. If you would like to see something added/changed or whatever, please post them here;  https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?board=144.0 Here's a basic order of priority in changes; 1. Security - nothing is ever more important 2. Bugs/broken items affecting performance 3. Performance improvements 4. Bugs/Broken items NOT affecting performance 5. Useful additions/changes 6. Cosmetic changes

Do you think a "contact uploader" button should be added It's worth thinking about but it would have to be an opt-out when uploading as some people really do want to be anonymous
  • Is it a good idea to make a torrent that has almost no seeders freeleech?

@cannonmc: From my experience, a torrent doesn't stay without seeders for long once it is made freeleech Indeed… I regularly make torrents such as Terence Davies freeleech when I'm the last seeder left, and I have enough bandwidth to most leechers' capacity, yet the majority of data is downloaded from other users (total snatches 300, my own ratio 100; leechers uploaded twice as much as me). This is a good thing if you like to spare bandwidth or to accelerate downloads; less good if your objective is to increase your ratio. At the very least, you must ensure that your upload bandwidth has capacity to upload the entire torrent ONCE during the freeleech time. In the worst case, all leechers will be stuck at the same level until the very end, your ratio for that torrent increases by 1 and they all swap their respective chunks until completion. If you are tight on bandwidth and/or you are the only seeder, you might want to add a comment and specify that in your calculations the speed will be sufficient for everyone to complete download.

@Bluesurfer: Thanks for the info, I was unaware of this feature.  The question I have is if I do rename the file using this feature, will I still be able to seed the torrent or while I get a message from my torrent program in red "unable to find" or will it seed as normal.  Thanks in advance for your help on this.    If you rename the file (or folder for a multiple file torrent) in µTorrent's download pop-up window, before starting the download, you can still seed it after having completed the download. Same if you use the "Advanced…" options to rename or move it. However, if you re-name the file or folder from the file explorer, you'll get a "File missing from download" error in µTorrent as it can't find the file(s) any more. This can be corrected in pointing µTorrent again to the re-named file/folder though.

Regarding some of the replies to my post (noted below), citing issues with the naming and titling of a torrent… My concern is not with a torrent's name or title, but with the name/title of its video (MP4, FLV, AVI, etc.)--and a question as to why doesn't the uploader of such videos noted (which appear in my download list as an unidentifiable string of numbers and letters attached to an MP4, AVI, or other video file) rename the video a title that's at least somewhat descriptive. Original post... To the uploaders (and downloaders) of any of the following torrent videos: 240P_400K_60424711 240P_400K_62227661 240P_400K_78514821 240P_400K_79287081 240P_400K_79988901 480P_403K_5218412 480P_600K_49387561 480P_600K_64541191 480P_600K_71736561 480P_600K_72203052 I’m curious, and interested in knowing the answers to a couple of questions regarding these (and similarly entitled) videos and their corresponding torrents. Without doing a “search” of or opening any files on your computer, and referring to this list of video titles only… 1.   Do you know either the subject of the particular video, or the name of the torrent the video belongs to? As for me, having downloaded all of these in the last week or so, I can say “No” to both. Even if I had the torrent names randomly listed opposite this list of titles, I couldn’t tell you what video goes to what torrent My second question is for the uploaders only, and something I’ve decided I’d ask from now on, whenever I come across a torrent with the same issue; and that is… 2.   Why didn’t you rename the video from the cryptic title, to something more descriptive–using the title of the torrent, for example, before you created and uploaded your torrent? ??? Anyway, from now on, I’ve decided to ask, “Why?”

We are 'curating' only upload descriptions which are reported, basically as infringing to: 11. Any information, e.g. the title, categories, pictures and description must correctly represent the content of the files shared with the torrent and avoid misleading members about the content. This applies as well to additions, votes or comments made by other members than the original uploader. In doubt, rather than providing wrong information, omit it. …. of the Upload Rules and that mostly based on information provided by reporting members or in comments. So basically the library is as good organised as the uploading members make them and the others take care. This means members must make reports if they want something in a torrent presentation improved. I can only repeat:  Reports, Reports, Reports, … There are many different correct ways an uploader might name/title an upload. For example: The models name ('Kevin and Matt' or 'Kevin & Matt') The movie name and scene number ('Hot Barebacking Scene 2") Studio / site name and models ('Bareback Feeders - Kevin & Matt') Adding definition ('720p') or digital file container format ('mp4) Combinations of above…. (…) When I originally posted this to the Help Desk, I was reminded of the DCMA ... (...) DMCA might be a motivation for is wrong titling, however is the wrong action. If a member "fears" his upload will be taken down on notices from the owners, he should not upload it. Period. As long as a human can identify what the upload is, agents will be able, too and it will still be taken down. The only thing achieved will be a reduced user experience by harder to identify uploads, and impossible to find with a search (and therefore useless once back a few pages). If something can't be identified it likely will be against the rule 11. of the Upload Rules. The search guide might help you: https://www.gaytor.rent/uploadguide.php?lan=1#500

@Popper: Yes, you must include dead torrents in the search before uploading and if there is a dead, get it removed before you make your upload. It is as well possible that your search term approach needs to be tuned. See our guide there for tips: https://www.gaytor.rent/uploadguide.php?lan=1#500 First… thanks for the info and the link.  After reading thru the entire article I can now see what I'm doing wrong.  I just didn't realize it would be a full time job to upload torrents :lolp:  Oh well.. live and learn.  :thx:
