@mandu: Hello I recently switch form Windows to Mac. I am using qBittorrent and the problem is that downloaded torrents aren't seeding. Did anything change besides your computer, like your internet service provider, modem, router, etc.?  New security software? Is the problem only with new downloaded torrents or are old torrents that you moved from your old computer not seeding, either? Do they actually show as seeding in qBittorrent? When you go to your profile page here on gaytor.rent and click on "Show seeding torrents" do the torrents show as seeding? Here's some troubleshooting that you might try if you already haven't: You've probably already done this, but check all of the preference settings for qBittorrent and make sure that you are not limiting upload speeds or restricting uploading to certain hours or have it set not to upload at all. Try doing a recheck of the data for a few torrents to make sure qBittorrent knows where the files are and that they are complete.  If you renamed or moved the folder the files are in, that will cause a problem.  Some torrent clients have an option to use one folder for downloading torrents and another folder for completed torrents.  Sometimes they use a different file type for uncompleted torrents. Try removing a few torrents from qBittorrent and downloading new .torrent files for them from the torrent page here on gaytor.rent and use those new .torrent files to re-add the torrents to qBittorent. Try installing Transmission and adding a few torrents to it using the new .torrent files to see if the torrent client settings are causing a problem. https://transmissionbt.com/

@Markajv65: I am new at adding torrents to this site, It was pretty easy to do but my problem is I let them sit in Utorrent so I can seed them but no matter how many torrents I have Utorrent is only showing 1 seeding. Why aren't they all seeding? I checked preferences and I think my settings are right. I don't get it. Any help would be appreciated. When do you see when you click on the link for "Show seeding torrents" at the bottom of your profile page here?  Does it show them seeding?  Leeching?  Not at all? If you add a torrent to this site and then download the torrent file and add it to µTorrent, it should check the data and then show it as seeding.  Does that happen each time? Try closing and reopening µTorrent and then doing a manual recheck of the data for each torrent you are trying to seed. If that doesn't work, remove the torrents from µTorrent (don't delete the video files!) and then download the torrent files from this site again and add them to µTorrent.

@dehskins: All of a sudden I can't download torrents at gaytorrents.ru using utorrent. I get the error message (Unable to load "matches.torrent":unknown error!) then I click ok and then I get the error message (Unable to load "Justice":unknown error!) I click ok and then another message (Unable to load "Nick":unknown error!) I click ok and then another error message (Unable to load "more": unknown error!) Clicking ok again and getting (Unable to load "8": unknown error!). The messages go away when I click ok again. This is all that happens when I try and download a torrent. I have searched the entire site for help and have found none I am having no problems downloading from other torrent sites just this one. I am also using firefox as my browser. I would really appreciate some assistance. If I use Microsoft Edge I am able to download torrents without an issue. I however don't wish to use that browser and would like help in figuring out the issue gaytor.rent is having with firefox. It's probably an issue with µTorrent or some setting on your end rather than a problem with this site or the torrent files you download from it, or else many people would be asking about it. Might have something to do with this being a private tracker. @adamshepardl: Do I require credit to upload new torrent files, and is that what this is used for? When you get enough points from user thank-yous, or from keeping your torrents seeded over time, you can exchange those points for an increase in your upload data volume (shown at the top center of the webpage).  Clicking on the "Bonus" value in the upper right of your webpage will take you the exchanging web page.  You'll see that the more points you exchange, the more data volume you get…and the "volume per points" price gets better with higher numbers of points. For example, right now you have about 300 points.  If you wait until that reaches 350, you can turn that in for 5 GB upload added to your totals.  That would bring your ratio up to 1.5. You'll continue to earn seed bonus points if you keep active the torrents you've uploaded--even if nobody is downloading them.  You'll get a half a point per hour if you do this.  With your current total of 300 points, you'll reach 350 points in about four days. Happy seeding (and you can take that any way you want  ;D )

@bearbearbear: Looks like your ratio is just under 0.80.  You only need 20 more seed bonus points to have 100 points to buy 1 GB of traffic which will fix your ratio.  That should only take 40 hours of seeding or less than two days.  Just be patient!  You can also rate all the torrents you've downloaded to earn some points to get to 100 points faster.  Then stick to freeleech torrents for a while.  You have a lot of traffic so it is harder to improve your ratio.  Seed! Thank you! Totally forgot about the rating for extra bonus seed points.

@ben351500: I also notice that folks will still download these torrents, thus rewarding the crappy download. It would be nice if all downloaders decided to boycott such uploads; that would discourage the practice. It baffles me that people will download a torrent that says only "hot sex" in a description, and has no pictures.  I would never do that.  I'm tempted to report that torrent as not following the rules, but if 10 suckers (!) have already downloaded it, my argument that "this crap violates the rules" seems to lose force. It's a pity–and a fairly recent phenomenon.  I don't remember this being a problem a few years ago.  Perhaps memory has drawn its merciful veil.

@brijcorns: I have this issue as well. I'm a Vuze user from way back but know there is uploading issues with this site & that client so have tried a couple others & still have problems. I leave my torrents open & uploading for a long time & am frustrated they don't keep uploading while I'm away from the computer. Does anyone have recommendations for the best torrent client/app to use on a Mac? What Mac/Catalina friendly app is best for use with this site? Any replies greatly appreciated! Transmission is great on Mac but I do verify the data for each download as sometimes a torrent will show as 100% when it is really 99.92% or similar after verification.  If you are not uploading, you might try closing your torrent software and reopening it.  Also check for the usual general problems with torrenting such as having closed ports or other settings that need to be adjusted.

The underlying problem is the size of the torrent.  Maybe there should be a limit on the size of multi-file torrents.  Huge torrents cause all sorts of problems and inconveniences and are not worth the slight convenience compared to a series of torrents of similar files that would otherwise be in a large collection.  I have even seen torrents composed of different quality versions of the same exact video and wondered how many people downloaded all of the files because they didn't bother to check to see exactly what was in the torrent. Complete speculation, but one reason this may be happening is that the original uploader sees that data more than equivalent to the size of the torrent has been downloaded by others and assumes that the group of downloaders has downloaded the entire torrent when they only have various partial files that don't add up to the whole. It could also be that the original uploader of that particular collection you used as an example only seeds on the weekend or is on vacation.  It is labelled as volume #4 in a series but only the original collection and volume #2 are currently available on this site.  Seems like he simply adds new files to the old collection and then makes a new torrent out of the folder so volume #4 contains all of the files in volume #2 which in turn contains all of the files in the original collection.  The same photos and description were used for all three collections. https://www.gaytor.rent/browse.php?search=fantastic+jizzers&incldead=1&orderby=added&sort=desc A much better solution for downloaders would have been to upload torrents of collections of only the new files instead of adding them to the previous collection and creating a new torrent out of the entire, growing folder. It's not a real solution, but a way for you to avoid a bunch of partial files would be to choose to download only a few of the files in a large collection at a time so that they will (hopefully) be complete even if the uploader stops seeding prematurely.
