@ianfontinell I agree for the most part. The simple instruction to include, clearly why "this" .mkv is different to "that" .mp4 + .gb.srt + .sp.srt + fr.srt is reasonable, especially given a mod needs to be able to make that determination fairly quickly, and other things - size, resolution, etc. - might otherwise make it look so. My "issue" is that I suspect many, as I did, will start from the basis that a .mkv containing softcoded English and Chinese dubs, all in one file, is a different format - and therefore not a duplicate - of a torrent containing a .mp4 + those two .srt subs. I do, though, feel there should be a clear note in the definition of "duplicate" that an .mkv IS considered a duplicate of a .mp4, UNLESS it contains additional elements not included in the original torrent, and that these differences should be clearly stated.

@john32123666 As @kevin4fm pointed out, the staff always sees who the person actually is, regardless of their security settings. If the report button is available, use that. If it's not, you can use the helpdesk and provide a link to the torrent.

No worries on this one: using a VPN or a dedicated IP is completely fine and does not get an account terminated. Cheating detection is about behaviour, not about what IP you connect from, and plenty of members seed from dedicated servers or seedboxes. Just keep your account to yourself as usual and you have nothing to worry about.

ianfontinell has it exactly right. Nothing is being deleted within minutes. A torrent only shows in browse and search while the tracker sees at least one seeder, and that check runs every minute. So if the uploader's client stalls or closes, the upload drops out of the listings a minute later, but it still exists on the tracker and comes right back the moment they seed again. Actual removal only happens when an upload never gets its initial seed for more than 3 days. So if your fresh upload vanished: start or fix the seeding in your client and it will reappear on its own.

@trkr4life That's excellent. Did they tell you how to set up port forwarding? Getting that right is going to be a major win for you. If not, let me know and we'll try to work it out together. Once you have it sorted, while I'm waiting to sort my own VPN out, I may be coming to you begging for you to join a swarm, just so I can grab what's on offer! When you're ready to try a multi-file torrent, just DM me. It's just a little different, but still dead easy.
