@MrMazda One example of how Fortinet pisses people off is that it blocks Youtube. It also blocks Trump's "Truth Social" twitter clone. Companies probably don't like paying money to Fortinet for a service that does little more than piss people off.

@hubrys Good for you! By the way, artists make most of their money by TOURING. The record companies tend to steal the $$ from the recordings. Apple came out early on with a way to purchase individual songs. A very famous artist mentioned that when they signed up to allow Apple to sell his music, he got a check for $5.

@frostycab I watch very little streaming video anymore. the case I just mentioned yesterday was a bit different, because The guy was already doing what I wanted him to do.. and he does it almost every day. The only difference was I wanted him to write my friend's initials on his ass. He writes stuff on his ass all the time.. but I wanted him to write those initials. I didn't come up with the price of $35, he did. He keeps saying he will do it, but doesn't. I know how he could get a lot more viewers and supporters and make a lot more money.. but while he typically says things like 'Wow! I like it! That's a great idea!" he very rarely takes any of my advice. addendum. I know that last year, he used to work with another guy. it's strange that when doing solo shows, he moves around like a first class professional exotic dancer.. he knows how to seduce people.. yet.. when bottoming in a duo, he just lays there like an inanimate, motionless body while the other guy shoves it in. I know the cute guy also tops guys, but I have never seen that. I bet he does a great job as a top. He posts pictures of his entire family. he is the only one that is very attractive.

@john32123666 I think you were right about the battery being bad. I bought a 2nd battery because the 1st one was behaving strangely. I was charging up BOTH batteries and flipping between the two - which worked for a few weeks. Now it seems the bad battery is useless, and I sticking with the new battery. With the new battery, I still had to disable and re-enable the ACPI... but only had to do that once, and the setting stuck after rebooting. I think the problem is fixed. ==== Next problem is a hopeless one.. the camera and touchscreen of my other laptop which in an HP stopped working 6 months ago.. just weeks after I bought it. Since I very rarely use the laptop's camera nor touchscreen, I don't care. From my research, it seems this is a common problem with HP laptops.

@Kekkaishi I've had this happen... and I have also had ebay items which were said to be delivered by UPS, but were not, and UPS refused to tell me where they were delivered to. As for Amazon, depending if the seller ships the item or Amazon ships the item, the seller is charged either a fee of about 24% or 50%. If it's a one of a kind item, the seller probably shipped it themselves and paid a 24% fee. If AMAZON shipped it.. it's Amazons problem. The seller loses no money, and Amazon gets screwed. So.. if the item you got came from Amazon's warehouse, then let Amazon eat it, and don't pay. If it came from a seller.. well.. the seller probably could get reimbursed by the shipper. I have a relative who sold stuff on Ebay a decade ago. He would get paid, and not send the items out until he got a lot of complaints, and even then, the stuff he sent out was not what the buyer was led to believe it was. Ebay banned him permanently - which is good! He was selling bootleg, poor qualiy copies of something he had no right to sell.
