The upload had finished, and the page, doupload.php, had finished loading. Both the POST to doupload.php and the jQuery callback were HTTP status code 200.

I had same issue and this is what PIA instructed me to do: Many users find they need to enable port forwarding in order to get the best speeds and connectivity with torrent clients. In order to enable port forwarding in our client, enter the Settings area for our client, and click the Advanced button. Enable port forwarding and select one of the following gateways: Netherlands Switzerland CA North York CA Toronto Romania Sweden France Germany After enabling port forwarding and re-connecting to one of the above gateways, please hover your mouse over the System Tray or Menu Bar icon for our client to reveal the tool-tip which will display the port number. You can then enter this port into your software, like uTorrent or another torrent client. This should help your uploads Matthew K, Level 1 Tech Support Private Internet Access Hope this helps

That can have many reasons: No leecher (downloading peer) Torrent client not connectible … Look for the status under the "Trackers" tab (µTorrent or BitTorrent) or in the torrent's details view.

Hi plex, the message you got should have a link to the original torrent page. Click on this and you get to that page. Just download the torrent again. I assume you still have the file you downloaded - if you haven't you won't be able to reseed. Open the torrent file again as usual, but when it asks where you want to save the file, point the torrent client to the same file you originally downloaded. The torrent client should say 'checking' and when it has checked say 'Seeding' or 'Queue seeding'. And that's it. If it says 'downloading' it means you haven't got the right file or you haven't got the complete contents of the file. Just stop the download.

Thanks for the information about the seed bonus. I only ask due to experiencing a different system on a straight torrent site that rewards per torrent, and generates seed bonus points (credits) very quickly. The site is correctly showing the seeding of the 6 torrents. I'm not sure if you were able to fix it or if the tracker refreshed. In either case, thank you for all of your help.

I think this depends, since your question isn't quite clear. If by "uploading" you mean new torrents, bigger files (both in size and video quality) are likely to be the better ones. However, if you're just seeding stuff you downloaded it might depend on the videos, and there probably isn't a direct connection between size and people who might download it.

Hi MancCub, As suggested by cannonmc, I have checked and what was suggested is indeed the issue: no one is downloading your completed torrent which means no data transfer (tho you still receive .5sbp/hr as long as the tracker registers you as seeding even with no downloaders) Here's some good info with links to help out new members: ========Advice for New Members; How To Maintain a Healthy Ratio===== If you ever wish to earn upload credit for reseeding videos (where you already have the video on your hard drive), the illustrated procedure is here: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=6539.0 Rule of thumb: Seed, seed, seed; seed anything you download, forever. This means DO NOT STOP your torrent nor torrent client, after downloading completes. KEEP IT RUNNING, so it can seed to the the next member who wants this video, and help improve your ratio, while doing so. Initially choose only new torrents to download that seem popular, to insure that you will have others downloading (from you, to raise your ratio) after you finish. Freeleech Torrents can be downloaded without affecting your ratio. Even with download rights taken away, you can download any freeleech torrent, as long as it stays freeleech: Here's the current list of freeleech torrents; They have NO effect on your ratio, as long as they remain free leech, however they tend to have MANY seeders: https://www.gaytor.rent/browse.php?showsearch=1&infl=1 After you download, you must keep your torrent program running, and your computer turned on, preferably ALL the time, if at all possible. You can also perform many tasks here on the board in order to earn Bonus Points, which can be traded in for Upload credit to improve your ratio. If you click on your Ratio: ( https://www.gaytor.rent/rationator.php ) you will see this detailed explanation on how your Ratio is maintained, and how to earn Bonus Points. Read the Rules ( https://www.gaytor.rent/rules.php ) , and Read the FAQs ( https://www.gaytor.rent/faq.php ) Here's a guide for Starters: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=707.0 Here's a guide for Newbies: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=13101.0 If you have any specific questions you can always write the help desk (or a PM back to me)

It looks you've found the right "tracker". GayTorrent.ru got it's own private tracker and you have to use the tracker announce URL shown in your Profile. It contains a secrete passkey allowing to identify you to connect to the tracker and to update the account statistics. This update happens in 30 minutes intervals. When you use the "Download" button, you'll get the torrent with the right tracker inserted. Don't share that small .torrent file with others, they would leech on your account.

I'm a little confused - when you say you deleted the 'seeds' do you mean you deleted the original files/movies? I feel that there would be no point in sending a reseed request because no-one will have the files to reseed. If you have just deleted the torrent files you posted then you can download them again from your posts and start them in your torrent client. pointing them to your original file. If you have deleted the original movie files, then the post won't work. If you have only deleted the torrent files, the whole thing can be rescued. Perhaps you could give us a bit more info. Remember the torrent files are not the movie files.

Well it looks the topic opener had a shut off event 5 hours 30 minutes before I've looked last time to his tracker announces "live" picture (see my earlier post). All were reported to be active since 5 hours 29 minutes to 5 hours 31 minutes. However only he can tell that for sure and if it was the internet connection, the computer or the torrent client. Our tracker needs reboots once a week or so, too. That has no influence to the tracked upload and download total as long as the torrent clients are not shut down that very reboot while (which takes only a few minutes) but kept running.

Please have a look at Vuze's torrent list and on the torrent(s) seeding with high upload rate, look for the tracker URLs, to ensure it are will GayTorrent.ru, respectively GayTorrent.tw torrents. Look as well that there is only one tracker URL and not multiple. Compare your "seeding" torrent list in Vuze with those in your GayTorrent.ru Profile and identify possible missing torrents in GayTorrent's list. On these check the tracker. As far as I can see, you download old torrents with many seeds and only you as downloading peers. That is almost a warranty not to upload after the download finished for a longer period, because it is unlikely another member will start downloading soon.

@Popper: @TerryG: … Why is the gaytor.rent dashboard suddenly giving me a smaller number for the files I am seeding? ... I've no explanation for that. Can you look if some of your seeding torrents are queued? @TerryG: … Is my daily seed bonus being calculated on 23 or 37? ... Neither nor. It is calculated on the fact that you seed at least one torrent. It is a flat 0.5 seed bonus points per hour, not per torrent. Thank you for these prompt responses. Your answers make perfect sense. As no one else has reported this issue, it must be my torrent client that is queuing some files rather than seeding all of them. I performed a “forced check” with the torrent client and the gaytor.rent dashboard now shows 35 files are being seeded. All the best, Terry.

You are currently using µTorrent 3.3.20 which is known to cause some seeding issues. Can you please upgrade to the latest stable built of µTorrent version 3.4.0 and then try again.

As uploader, you can edit the torrent page for 7 days after the upload date / time. Changeable are: The title Add or delete pictures The description text Not changeable are the .torrent file and the torrent's file list and the file names. –--- How to edit a torrent page: 1/ Go to the torrent page (e.g. from your Profile's Uploaded torrents list)) 2/ Locate the "Upped by  (Anonymous)" 3/ Click on the "[Edit this torrent]" there and the torrent page editor opens 4/ Change first pictures, then title and/or description 5/ Click the "Edit it!" button to save changes Remark: the torrent page editor has as well options to delete the page and torrent. However this should be used only if nobody has yet started downloading or there are serious issues with the torrent's data files. Deleting the torrent will leave the downloading peers with unusable partly downloads counted to their share ratio.

There are two possibilities: During the time you were seeding there may have been a disconnect between your client and the tracker. Since any disconnect from seeding will reset the sum total displayed, the totals given on your profile are from that disconnect point, and not the entire amount. Another person with a higher bandwidth has that same completed file, and seeded it to others alongside you, albeit at a faster rate.

I recommend new freelech torrents. Also torrents uploaded in the last 12 hours (the newer the torrent, the better). Then just leave your computer on and seeding. I usually get the majority of my torrents up to a 1.00 ratio within 48 hours (although I do also get about 20% that won't bother going above 0.5 for ratio). Been doing it like this for the past month and I have really raised my ratio. In addition, if you have utorrents, you can sort your files by last active and see what torrents were recently accessed/uploaded.

@Redssmoker02: And for Windows XP?  Yes, some of us out here are still using XP Same than Vista and 7. Actually it is even simpler, because the it works even without the "run as administrator" (less secure OS). I've added XP to the list of Windows systems.
