Not immediately, it would be considered duplicate. We haven't yet a good process for such cases in place Contact the Helpdesk and indicate the link to that torrent. If it is not seed at all, a staff member will try to revive it with the usual steps (reseed request, promotion, comment, …). If that has no success after a week, the torrent will be deleted and the way for your re upload free. With good torrent clients (e.g. µTorrent, BitTorrent, Vuze, ... it is possible to jump on a torrent and help seeding only the files one got. That isn't a true reseed though. It has the disadvantage tol be count as leeched torrent by the tracker and there is a limit in number of leeching torrents. Upload is correctly added to your stats, no download should be made.

We've as well tested qBittorrent, which exists for Mac, GNU/Linux and Mac and can recommend it, too.

Please don't use the delete function if there are already leecher. In that case, contact the Helpdesk. The torrent will be removed from the public list and deleted once there is no more leecher.

A torrent becomes "visible" when it is seeded. You need to go to their description pages and re-download the .torrent file with the "Download" button. Then open the torrent with your torrent client programme and point the download to you the data files (usually the movie) from which the torrent was created. How exactly that is done depends on your torrent client programme. You should look at the Guides section if there is one fopr your client programme or if not to this guide, step 4.0 onwards > https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=18666.0 –-- If you are µTorrent user, give QTM V1.8 a trial to upload. It automates the critical last steps described above.

@skips: Thank you. How do I make myself a seeder after I downloaded a movie? As already said by Joker, keep the torrent started (seeding) in your torrent programme and the programme running as long and much as possible. There can happen upload of actual data only, if there are leecher (members who download), too.

I suspected that it might be more bother than it's worth but I thought I'd throw in the suggestion anyway. Thanks for reply, Popper

That's a very good point… I had never thought about the seeding not registering correctly. I guess I'll just rent a node at Amazon and seed away again Thanks for the help!

Try these steps in µTorrent/BitTorrent to change from downloading to seeding: 1/ Stop the torrent (do NOT remove) 2/ Click with the right mouse button on the torrent in µTorrent's list and select "Advanced" > "Set Download Location…" > navigate to the file location and confirm (Save) 3/ Right mouse button click on the torrent in µTorrent's list and select "Force re-check". The torrent should check to 100% and µTorrent displaying "Finished" instead of "Stopped" in the status column. 4/ Restart the torrent, it shall go to "Seeding" or at least to "Queued seeding" You can avoid this issue in future by downgrading to µTorrent 2.2.1 > https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=135394

Make your torrent client programme connectible. Requests from other member's torrent clients don't reach yours. Then what happens is that at the first sync with the tracker when you start seeding, there isn't of course an leecher. If are leecher joining, they'll get your IP from the tracker and will send a request to get data, but it doesn't reach your torrent client programme if it is not connectible. The next sync with the tracker initiated by your torrent client programme, it will get all the IPs of the other members trying to download. From then, your torrent client programme will start to propose uploads to the downloaders and traffic will start. The easy and dirty work around is to Stop (not pause) the torrent when you see a leecher on the site, then after a few seconds to restart it. That will initiate a sync with the tracker outside the 30 minutes intervals. The correct solution is to make the torrent client programme connectible. Usually it are the forwarding (aka NAT = Network Address Translation) and the firewall settings which cause the issue. µTorrent/BitTorrent got a built-in test: Options > Setup Guide > select the "Network" test and run it. The result should be a green check sign, not a yellow/orange only. a) A easy solution for the portforwarding, is to activate UPnP and/or NAT-PMT in both your torrent client programme and your modem/router (the box from your ISP, usually it is already on there). Then restart your torrent client programme b) The firewall needs to have an exception for incoming connections for your torrent client programme on the port which you've set to be used in the torrent client's connection settings. There may be multiple firewalls active, e.g. Windows' built-in firewall, your internet security or anti-virus built-in firewall. All need to have that exception. Easy try is to set the Windows firewall exception to "On" if your torrent client got such option and restart the torrent client.

You probably just had to wait until peers connected to your seeding torrent, especially if it was the only one you were seeding, for utorrent to recognize your connectivity. Is everything alright now?

There are a variety of methods to improve your ratio to maintain download privileges: (1)  Seed downloaded torrents (2)  Upload new torrents (3)  Exchange seed bonus points for upload credit  (seeding; gifts from other users for new uploads; category voting; reporting duplicates) (4)  Make a donation in exchange for upload credit – FASTEST method

Without donation and new downloads, you should try to seed what you've got. When I've made my previous answer, I had promoted some torrents you were the only seed, that should saturate your internet connection for some time. BTW, two of them got now many leecher but are not seed … Other options are: Vote categories, you have downloaded many torrents and that should bring you quite a number of SBP. It takes some time though. Upload pictures to descriptions with less than 10 pictures, yet. Upload an own torrent for something still missing here

If you run the "Network" test, you enable automatic port mapping (by default) and your µTorrent not being connectible upon may as a result become connectible.
