@mancini24 there's never been a "gift feature" like you are imagining, the original post refers to the "say thank you" feature, where you can gift seedbonus to the uploader of a torrent. If you want to gift it to someone in particular you need to know of a torrent uploaded by them

Its ok, its not a big loss, i just wanted to confirm my suspicions 

@alivenwell: I know this is late but when I have my privacy set to Strong, does this also mean that no on can see what I am downloading? Regardless whether your setting is Normal, Low or Strong, No other members can see the history of your downloads (completed/currently seeding or not), uploads, and leeching (currently downloading), but you yourself alone.

The mods have contacted me swiftly to try to help me but it was beyond their powers as the site was experienced connection problems shortly after I uploaded the torrent. I will upload again later. Thank you amice and airliner
