I'm not a programmer or anything like that, so I can only give vague answers as I understand the situation. The threads/posts that disappeared still exist in some form, as they can still be seen on user pages. Until we find the problem, which is the main thing on the agenda, there's really no sense to try to restore the threads/posts as it could happen again because the problem was never fixed.

I had no illusions that we could get every take down listed (although I'm feel the automatic messages sent to uploaders could be copied to a thread). But any information is more than we get now
