I also naturally hang to the left, probably because I’m right-handed. I don’t play water polo, but I love swimming, and my swim trunks feel pretty tight too.
However, I’ve never had the problem you mentioned. For one thing, I wear boxers for swimming; for another, both my testicles and my flaccid size are really small—seriously tiny. So they don’t stick out at all, and it even looks pretty flat down there.

My English is quite basic, so it's challenging for me to join discussions, make posts, or even read threads in English. Machine translations are often unreliable, so I always look up words in the dictionary to read carefully.
