At least caffeine has therapeutic effects, an alcohol has no therapeutic effect.  It blocks anti-diuretic hormone, it causes an excess loss of B vitamins, which in turn can cause Korsakoff Syndrome.  Caffeine consumption of approximately 300 mg/day for 10 years has shown to decrease chances of having mental deteriorating diseases such as Alzheimmer's.  :cheerup: :angel2:

This might seem like a shocking idea to some, but …. I wish there had been some kind of cultural, mainstream "values" sort of idea that encompassed childhood nutrition (where the parents legitimately had nutritional options) when I was growing up. In the past, I suspect it wasn't something anyone needed to think about simply because the kind of calorie excess that it is common in modern life wasn't quite as possible. You simply fed your kids, made sure they were full, and you were a good parent. Times change. Few people drop a jaw anymore at the idea of shaming parents who don't properly seat an infant up in a car anymore, for example. Once -- this was a new idea and people got very stubborn and nasty about the idea that they suddenly had to consider it part of their parental duties. People who continually let your children eat a plate of chicken fingers, cheetos, candy ... whatever else at dinner time that you know they will eat with a minimum of argument .... I'm looking in your direction. Let them scream and squeel and throw tantrums instead, as you give them the one-and-only-option of the more balanced meal the rest of the family is eating. They will NOT let themselves starve. You may get a few unpleasant evenings out of it before you get the idea into their heads and they work it out of their systems. My advise? DEAL AND SIT THROUGH IT UNTIL THEY START EATING THE VEGGIES.

@raphjd: The most stable jobs are in the blue and white collar areas. Jobs based on luxury (maids, car valets, etc, etc)  have the highest job instability. I agree

Well, situation in Greece is critical, Germany wants to re-create Europe by its own standards and build a German Europe but let's be some sort of realistic here: we Greeks are kinda responsible for the Greek austerity. We are a hard working people, despite the fact we're getting paid less for our services than other European countries but we kept on voting for the same "thieves" again and again. Though our monthly salary was low, we wanted to drive two or even three cars, had more cell phones than one, we liked to live in a fake luxurious life etc. etc. If we don't change the way we think then nothing will change for the rest of our lives

I suppose the point is moot.  Either you are obese and you will choose to stay that way or you are not overweight and there is no cause for alarm.  Being overweight causes more harm than we currently know, these articles serve as a precaution to fast food bingers.

You even admitted it benefits the poorer couples. Also, the marriage tax break is an old fashioned thing from days when the wife stayed home.  It was then adjusted for the wife to have a part time job.  It hasn't kept up with the times as it doesn't take into account that both people tend to work full time now.

I also agree with the opinion that if a man has sex with other men, then he is not st8 and there is at least some degree of bisexuality. I have noticed however that the "str8 fantasy" is very common among gay men so whatever floats our boat. I have met and had sex with many men who refused to identify themselves as gay or bisexual. What I have detected is some sort of guilt to them as they consider that sex with a man makes them lesser men. As far as pleasure is concerned, there were times that sex with those men was truly amazing, but there were also times when it was horrible.  I have noticed that that insecurity about their sexuality (thinking that gay sex makes them lesser men) drives them to be more agressive which can be a turn on at times. However most of them refuse or cannot show any sign of emotion, they treat you like a tool, they do not seem to care if you enjoy them and some of them also try to pretend that you are some sort of woman (for example, refering to me as a "woman" or having a "pussy"). Those are major turn-offs for me. I also believe that people who consider sex with straight men to be better by default are aroused mostly by the "turning a straight guy on fantasy". I understand that the idea that a st8 guy would be so attracted by me that he would bend his sexual orientation for me is so arousing that makes sex more pleasurable. This is the reason that there are so many "gay for pay" porn actors. They exploit the "straight man who fucks men" fantasy. But we must be aware that this is just a fantasy. We are not actually "seducing" str8 men, as they are not completly str8. They just refuse to label themselves as gay or bisexual. Thus, having sex with those men does not make us special. We are not that irresistible. If it was not me, they would easily fuck another guy easily. In fact, I couldn't help but notice that those men are more eager to have sex with men than gay guys.
