Oh, man! I feel the pain already. I never had that experience with McAfee before, but Malwarebytes was all up in my grill regarding utorrent, lol! So yeah, I had to do those steps described above. Presently, I have AVAST and I definitely had some firewall issues with them in the beginning, but no issues now. Thankfully.

To avoid overload capacity select only few torrent file before starting or uncheck them all and check only the file you wanted... Once it start normally click on Files option and highlight them all and right click priority to normal download... Remember downloading over 10gb of torrent will result in over load capacity and will result in disk overload ... (no, seriously!) You can obtain a list (at least partial - I don't know how far it goes back) of the files you've downloaded from your own profile. There should be links to each torrent there. (Click on your name at the upper-right of your window, choose "Details & Stats" & look for "Show your completed torrents) Unfortunately, re-downloading the content WILL count against your ratio. Even re-downloading torrents YOU UPLOADED will count! So be careful with your ratio and be patient while you re-build your porn collection. Oh, and now you know to backup your files!
