i worked a little on our popups..
they shouldn't flicker away that quick then before. also, you can move with your mouse "into" the qtip (eg comment) and even click on the links inside.
the thumb preview is enhanced also and is using masonry for layouting the thumbs for taking less space.
for cannonmc and all the others: it was just an april fool joke :cheesy2:
After long consideration we decided to make some changes to rationator!
Today we released version 4 of it.
For better understanding, just take a look on those pics.. you might print them out to put them "sticky" on your monitor

so many cool ideas - can't wait to find some time to implement some of those.
I was talking to popper already about colored borders arround those pics for torrent seperatioin: eg: white border, next torrent grey border, than again white border and so on.
thx to you we also change the colors for downloaded torrent AND completed (snatched) :crazy2:
Also i do not forget those other ideas posted earlier. I gonna get back to you guys soon (with an update) !
testing: if you select "Sort by latest torrent first" it shows just one pic for each torrent, ordered by latest first.
also no recycled torrents are shown here
unfortunately we cannot choose "the cover" and other interesting attributes yet
i also added the size of the torrent, time_ago uploaded and the amount of seeders / leechers for more information
i have not much time to work on. Stay tuned.

the filter options get extended.. while trying to optimize the database queries to get some better speed.
more sort orders and also a search field will be added like on regular torrent search
i was wondering when people ask to change the menu. we thought about this quite a while. but picbrowser is somehow to long
new picture browser is horrible (at least for me)
It makes it very difficult to find what one is looking for.Old browsing system is much better for me.
It would be nice if you provide a choice in the profile settings t choose old or new one

we find better ways for categorizing our pictures with the kind help of our users soon to have pics like "scat" set on "explicit?!?"

Well, I guueees the "Show all" link does work for removing pre-selected categories.
indeed - ontop i just added a "clear all" "set all" button
even i got accused of being in c64 era…not that im complaining, c64 is still the best thing.
nothing to say against this. i started programming on a c64
but please do not expect me to make the site work on it or on a win2k with 256mb memory :blownose:

maybe an option in the profile to change the default way search currently works?
default is browse so people who don't read this thread (even if they look at it -lol) won't cry about pic browser, option is to restore search to it's default behavior.
checked categories are saved, but not active if the setting is to default (old) search version.
why? people can get aware of it, and if they not like it or need to search something switch over to the old way while clicking on "search"
before "search" and "browse" lead to the same script.
one thing is still different: search opened the browse page with no pre-selected categories from profile, while browse took them from users profile.

SOOOOOOO Happy you kept the old option in Search.
I'm on Windows 2000 with an old celeron computer with 260 K ram.
it took a few seconds and my system crashed. I had to reboot!
did that 3 times and 3 times crashed.

there is no reason for us to drop the old browse page, but anyhow we do live in 2k14 - you cannot blame a website for not running on such a crappy system. sorry
dont worry guys, it was not intended to have this new browse way as a replacement - more like a new way of browsing beside the regular way
now it appears a black "Clear browser" on the left bottom of the page when you scroll.. you can remove all pics and continue browsing to save memory and so browsers from collapse :blind:
