I think that's why I had prickles last week all up and down my penis shaft - as some of the hairs grow back they may cause that because of nerve proximity. So if you shave your shaft be prepared for it - not pleasant and you can really feel it when you pants rub against you. But strangely nothing prickly on the balls…
Needless to say I'm not going to make a habit of shaving down there...

I shave my balls, just cause I like the feel of it. I've only shaved my pubes once and will never do that again. Itchy and uncomfortable growing back in. I love to lick shaved balls, so would think that many guys would like the same. Anyone want to confirm by licking?

I'll take well trimmed over perfectly shaved any day. I love natural hair-growth, in decent/artistic amounts - so it has to be trimmed or moderate by nature. Either that or natural smoothness, like a certain type of blondes and reds have. Which are both extremely hot as well…

I only trim, apart from some shaving around the facial hair-growth to keep the lot aesthetic.

I have no experience licking balls, either shaved or not shaved - regardless of incidental slipping down, so I couldn't say I prefer the one or the other on real-life examples. But I reckon shaved is better, no one wants hair stuck between their teeth.

i trim the pubes above my dick, but I like to shave the hair off my dick and balls. id DOES suck tho when the hair starts growing again and it gets itchy. and the occasional ingrown hair always makes me think twice about ever shaving again.

I did shave once and I didn't like the results.
But, I had a bf that loves to shave my balls.
The whole process in the shower was nice.

I shaved once and it was so god dam itchy I never bother to do it. Plus I don't think it look very good, so now I just trim it to about half a cm. Personally I don't like guys with no hair, turns me off.

i shaved it all off (using a clipper) and i like the way it looks. bf likes it too, but the two days after shaving are a little irritating

I shave the balls and the shaft. The pube I trim to 5-10mm. The only discomfort I get is when the growing hair is very short; maybe half a mm, but then my hair is quite soft, so the itching part is short lived.

Sometimes I use depilation cream for sensitive skin. It's a supermarket-brand, so I can't suggest anything. Before I used another, a brand that I can't remember, and it was the only one they had without an advise that said it shouldn't be used on the perianal area (from the balls till the anus). I think it was for sensitive skin as well. The ones for the face (eyebrows etc.) are mild as well. With these I don't feel any burning and I have to let it stay for much longer than the maximum time written on the product. The hairs are thicker than on the rest of the body, after all. For someone with very thick hairs, this might not work too well. Half burnt hair might be difficult to shave, but on the other hand it's very fragil.
Veet and other big brands itch and burn even on my back. I wouldn't even think of spreading them on an area that's very sensitive. The skin is more porous as well.
It's important not to wash the area with soap before. The skin's natural grease protects the skin. If the balls are sweaty or whatever, I rinse them with water and dry them before.

It depends; mostly I trim it. But when I'm in the mood I shave it.

I may be a leatherbear but I shave my balls and trim my pubes. I also prefer my Boyz to have shaved balls and trimmed pubes. There are many reasons for this:

I hate lose hairs getting in my mouth when sucking dick.
The sensations are just better with out the hair on balls.
If I decide to bind your balls I do not want hair pinching to deter from the binding.
Other reasons are also related to sexual play as well.

I shaved only once in my life, for a very specific reasons (yeah, crabs). And while it was fun on the spot and yeah my dick looked bigger, there are two downsides for that.

First, as I later learned, shaving is unnecessary to treat crabs (oops). Second, when hair grows back it feels just horrible and scratchy.

Everywhere I look, even in some hairy guys movies, balls are shaved. it seems to be pretty much the norm nowadays. But those are very loose skin, would really freak me out shaving that bit!
