@omar1981 And yet another member who decides to use their fist and only post in the forums to try to get banned? Honestly, how hard is it to go and read the site rules like you agreed when you joined?
Tell you what, I'll be nice. Here's the link to the rules, so go read them and then come back and tell us all which one you broke and the mods may be kind. I'm saying this for your own good, because I've seen several people get banned over it.

I thought the "Banned" next to his name meant we'd already been beaten to it, when I looked at this post earler, hence not bothering with a similar comment to yours.
Though thinking about it, if he had been I guess his user name should have read something like "deleted" or "ex-member".
Other opinions are also available. They're not right, obviously, but they are available.

@Kevin4fm Could be they are only banned from posting. Or maybe just a temp ban?
Also likely, bans still keep the username alive in the database. As opposed to having their account "deleted".

How utterly ridiculous. The whole forum apparently is open to the world to see but we are worried about request people make? There is no legal defence to be on a website where the majority of served material is illegally acquired. Requests should be the least of your worries.

@eonflux I think that probably goes a long way as to why they're banned. Discussion of torrenting isn't breaking any laws, but if people are actively requesting things then that might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. It's been discussed many times over the years and no real answer has been forthcoming, nor has anything changed, so at this point it's just something that has to be accepted. After all, we don't run the site, and it's ultimately up to the site owner what is allowed and what isn't, just like any website..
