Image Error When Attempting Torrent Upload
-
Are the right people aware that trying to include an image in a torrent upload is generating an error again? At the time of posting this, the last new torrent upload showing was three hours ago.
This appears to be the same issue as a couple of days ago.

-
@Kevin4fm this happened yesterday around the same time of day, maybe mrmazda is right and it is related to the server load.
-
@ianfontinell Maybe, but it seems a long time to be happening for. I was advised of the problem by another member I'm to help upload his first torrent. I then created my own and tried. I then retried without a pic a while later. (That possibly shouldn't have worked cos there was no image, but I got the same image error anyway.)
Server load errors tend to genuinely be "right now", and normally cure themselves after a few minutes. These seem to be lasting hours, not minutes.
-
@Kevin4fm not entirely true, some overload errors might fail to recover until the server restart
-
@ianfontinell Ah, yeah. I was thinking of times when the issue cures itself, rather than needing intervention. The error message here implies that it will cure itself.
-
I had the same issue a few days ago. Yesterday it worked again. Now the issue's back. I feel like it's due to all the 'new' features'. I don't think the site had any major issues before it got a new design and such.
-
I am having the same issues...images are not being uploaded.
-
Sorry about this one. That "server error / non-JSON" on the image step isn't your uploads, it's our end. We traced it to some heavy search queries overloading the servers, which then makes the picture upload time out. We're fixing the search side today and it's already better. Give it another go, and if a few pics fail just re-add those, they'll attach to the same upload. Thanks for hanging in there.

Facing the same issue for the last 4 hours
-
@imgayru2 I am getting this message all day now. Is this being fixed??
-
@Joker now it's back to not working again....
-
Having the same problem. Using the new upload form I get a notification:
"Non-JSON server error"
-
@grubsays I have the same problem in all day
-
Attempted to create a torrent for nearly the last hour and the picture is erroring out. I have waited 25 minutes and nothing.
This is the current error I get

-
@etalith Keep an eye on the "latest" torrent. Currently, the last time something was added was eight hours ago. When something new appears, it must have been fixed.
Obviously not everyone can use this trick, or we'll all be sat there waiting while it works again but no-one has realised. But changing time zones will ensure someone comes fresh to the site and tries it without realising there is/was an issue.
-
It appears to now be working again. Three new torrents have been added within the last few minutes.
Obviously an appropriate person found has exactly the right sharp stick with which to poke the server.
-
not working again....
Non-JSON server error -
@voguemi Issue is back now
-
@Kevin4fm same problem

Is this to become a daily occurence?
