It seems like every time BitTorrent updates or I don't use my laptop for an extended period of time, all of my previously downloaded torrents disappear from BitTorrent where they are no longer seeding. I am happy to continue seeding these files to improve my ratio, but now I cannot figure out how to get them to show up in BitTorrent for others to use. My ratio is now crap and it doesn't show that I have anything to seed at all. How can I bring these file back?

@mtele31784-0 Update: I redownloaded the torrent file for many of my previous downloads, and they are now seeding, but some of them didn't register that I have already downloaded them once before.

That means that the previously downloaded files are in the wrong place for your client to see them (or you've deleted them.) As long as they are in your client's download folder (or in another folder the client checks) it will re-check the files and only download missing pieces.
