Failure: Bad ratio
-
Hi,
Recently, I have been experiencing a Failure Bad Ration Error when downloading even thou I am only downloading one or 2 at a time and I have an 8 limit. I have not exceeded my 150+ download limit for the day. It doesn't make sense - does seeding affect this ratio?
Any solution or suggestions? Thanks.

@adlp1ph ...
These happens w/ multiple downloads finding peers ...
it will update once active download is completed,
if not stop stalled torrents [finding peers] to free slot ...

@adlp1ph This usually happens when you have one or more torrents that you have not downloaded 100% of ALL the files. When this happens, the tracker will only register you as leeching the torrent, which counts towards your maximum number of simultaneous downloads, which is a separate number from the number of .torrent files you can download in a day.
To get around this, you need to either stop these torrents, or finish downloading ALL the files.

I understand so if i completed some torrents that are just partially downloaded and seed it ... it will count as leeching too? is that correct?... but if I stop all seeding and wait for the system to refresh I should be able to download again? thanks for all your help

NO ...
Once file is 100% completed you will become a seeder...
There are 2 types of seeding, A 100% files [you're a seeder or co-seeder] ...
seeder - 100% who have own the files ...
co-seeder - 100% who have the exact same copy ...A partial downloaded files, youre a seeder and a leecher ...
In most cases a leecher is a downloader sharing files or not sharing upon completion ...So stop unfinished leeching torrent while downloading to prevent bad ratio warning if your ratio is low ...
