      Last year, we lost wrestler "The Exotic Adrian Street". Adrian portrayed a gay wrestler, even though he was not at all gay. He also recorded music as "Adrian Street and the Pile Drivers" The double entendre on "Pile Drivers"... for the wrestling move and the hemorrhoid joke

        @lololulu19

        He wasn't supposed to be gay, but a "dandy" or a camp straight man.

        According to other wrestlers, he was very tough.

          @raphjd Well, Adrian described it as being a dandy... and he was extremely tough. He once got into a real fight with Randy "Macho Man" Savage and beat the stuffing out of him.

          I spoke with Adrian a few times on the phone, and via email. Very nice man. The only thing I did not like about him was his fascination with eating every animal on the planet.

            @raphjd Miss Linda was his 2nd wife, and he's got some kids.
            He moved to the panhandle of Florida for many years, but after retiring moved back to a small town in England. He successfully overcame throat cancer, retained his voice, and lived to 83.
