He moved to the panhandle of Florida for many years, but after retiring moved back to a small town in England. He successfully overcame throat cancer, retained his voice, and lived to 83.

He once got into a real fight with Randy "Macho Man" Savage and beat the stuffing out of him.

I spoke with Adrian a few times on the phone, and via email. Very nice man. The only thing I did not like about him was his fascination with eating every animal on the planet.
