Don't do this if you take Cialis!

OMG! Grapefruit can keep Cialis in your system longer, lower your blood pressure, and give you a prolonged erection! NOOOOOO!!
Hmm.. my blood pressure tends to be on the high side..

@lololulu19 They were right. Drinking grapefruit juice DOES cause Cialis to produce a faster and longer erection. How awful! I will never drink grapefruit juice again! (until the next time I take a Cialis pill)

Grapefruit has some chemical that is known to cause problems with meds.

@raphjd yes... it interferes with them... with cialis, it prevents the cialis from breaking down as fast, so it stays in your system longer, causing the possibility of an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours.
While it is true that having an erection for 4 hours is NOT a good thing. Having an erection for 30 minutes is good. -
It does the same with a lot of drugs.
Somehow it prevents the liver from removing it like normal.
