Issue With Verifying New Email

Hey I'm trying to verify my new email address and I keep getting an error message.
Can someone explain this?

I'm having a similar problem. In the past 2 days, I've received the email shown below 9 times. Earlier today, I got the email 5 times in 5 minutes. I didn't ask to change or confirm my email. When I try to confirm my email address, I get the same error message you've been getting, and it seems to trigger a new email.

@VelvetBelly if you haven't requested any change then you should disregard any email you get, as many as it is. What you need to do instead is change your password.
You are lucky you're unnable to "confirm" your email as that would literally mean passing your whole account to someone else, whoever is sending those requests.
