Uploaded torrent for the first time - still seeding?

Hi,

I have uploaded a torrent file for the first time and its still seeding. Only 1.8mB data is uploaded and its stopped. Is that normal? or should I wait?

I have followed all the instructions however I need clarity on something.

I did point the .torrent file to the correct location of the data file in my computer - which is not the default download folder. Should data files of torrents be placed in default download folder only?
How do I check if torrents file is correctly linking back to the data file?

@zoheb It's supposed to be seeding forever! Every once in a while you'll see it actually being uploaded to other people, but for the most part it will just sit there seeding. You just have to go to the "trackers" tab and see if it says "working" in the status. If it tracker "tracker.gaytor.rent" says working, everything is alright. If it says "not registered" that means your torrent is dead and it cannot be reached by other people.

Yes indeed, tracker "tracker.gaytor.rent" says working with 12 seeds and 0 Peers.

So I guess I'll just have to wait and let it do its thing. Thanks again!

It is possible that the torrent is queued you can do force-resume/start [right click option] or it goes automatically ... [you can change behavior from preferences/queueing]
