Search is broken again

I have the same problem.
It used to search keywords seprated by space, but it doesn't work now. -

I normally search w/ these 2 field and the one w/ space has no result @ all ... It only allows full words / no space @ this moment ???

Hello,
I will forward this information to the higher-ups, but the best work around is to put the words in quotes. IE "Multiple Words" instead of Multiple Words.
I have found this works when searching.

In addition : What are double quotation marks used for?
Double quotation marks are used for direct quotations and titles of compositions such as books, plays, movies, songs, lectures and TV shows. They also can be used to indicate irony and introduce an unfamiliar term or nickname. Single quotation marks are used for a quote within a quote. -

@DandyLion I too alerted the sysop to this. I saw this in the helpdesk before I came into the forum to see that once again, the DB bug is back.

Yes! Search seems back to normal after today's DB maintenance.

OOOOH...is that what the issue is?
I know sometimes I have like zero luck when I try to search for a porn star's first and last name. But if I search for their last name I can sometimes find it.
Like the other day I searched for Chris Rockway and found nothing but got results when I just searched Rockway.

@semurg30 I'm not sure of the exact details, but something goes wonky in the database, causing it to need to be refreshed. Once it's refreshed and given a bit of a tune up of a sort, the performance and functionality of the search feature returns to its normal state.
