Sucks. Guess I'll go back to Gay-Torrents.net. They have less selection but at least they aren't hung up on your DL ratio.

Support is all volunteers and many of them are based in Europe or Asia so be patient when waiting for a response. It's understandable that you're frustrated by the situation, but a hostile attitude won't help.

It seems that none of the torrents that you have seeding have any leechers downloading them. I can freeleech and/or promote a number of them for you to get you some upload traffic.

EDIT: I just thought I'd add I'm sorry if my reply didn't come as quickly as you would like. What you probably didn't know is that for the last two days my life has been turned upside down on account of getting into a massive fight with my now ex, which resulted in our break up. I haven't been able to get online much in the last couple of days due to this, as well as other internet issues on my end.

Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Patience goes a long way my friend.

I've tried just about anything. last week, I could download some torrents via the non-ssl tracker, and have been seeding them since, but that doesn't work since the connection to the tracker keeps timing out.

then, only after logging in on the website and restarting rtorrent it suddenly connects again. do I have to log in, like, every day to be able to seed? that never used to be the case, and my setup hasn't changed since I joined in 2008 (dammit, that's a long time now… :))

I'm getting "Scrape Error - Tracker gave HTTP response code 404 (not found)" on 162 non SSL torrents on Transmission 3.0 for Mac right now. Will this resolve itself later on? or is it permanent, and is there a current work-around for this?

Just checked and my torrents are sat unable to download.

Error operation cancelled.
I've used this site for years and dont normally have any issues.

Edit.
Just disabled SSL torrent announce and downloaded a torrent file. This is now connecting to the tracker successfully.
Guess I'll have to leave that off…...

I have tried SSL checked and unchecked, still not working for me. But I can open the page https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd. I'm using utorrent, it always turns red and the tracker offline. :cry2:

when torrent file turns to RED I know there some issues causing it / HTTP error / offline time out / updating…
I stop the torrent that is either seeding or downloading, right click on status on the torrent and hit Force Re-check and start...
also if it don't work I just delete torrent and re-download and everything should works fine...
or restart your torrent to refresh its cache and other option...

I cant seed anymore. It takes DAYS before it connects and downloads. And by that time, everyone already downloaded it so I cant seed it. It will ruin my ration in the long run.

Can you just find and fix the issue? Obviously something is still wrong. I tried both with and without SSL. Same thing in both cases. Other trackers works fine without any issues.

You may need a different VPN provider as not being able to open that link means you are unable to connect to the tracker's back end.

No I cant open that link. ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
And in Qbittorrent I get: "Not working" on tracker. With and without SSL.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I can start a torrent and wait anything from an hour to a week and all the sudden the torrent starts downloading. But I may have 2-3 torrents added and sometimes only 1 or 2 of them starts downloading while the 3rd still didnt start.

This means that you are not able to connect to the tracker's back end, which is where your problem is coming in. The only solution for this is a VPN service. I usually recommend Private VPN, as it is what a number of our staff use.

I means the DDos is not configured correctly. Im not spending my money on a VPN because of that. I rather just download and slowly ruin my ratio because I can't seed, and hoping issue is resolved before its too late.

Something just happened here…
one torrent began to run the other day
now every torrent that remained download and the "server not found" is gone.

Someone obviously found the big screwdriver that was stuck in the machinery and removed it?!

The only way I got it work (Surfshark VPN, BitComet) was to turn off SSL Announce in the profile and to redownload the .torrent files of the vids that I wanted to download but was stuck for hours/days. This cleared up everything and all torrents started to leech immediately! WHEW!

Um guys? We're all having the same issues here but don't be cunts about it.

To get back on topic, I've officially tried everything. I can't connect to the backend, and no matter what client I use and regardless of SSL, I can't seed or download. I've rebooted, reinstalled, and cleared everything I can, but no dice. So I guess that means I can't use the site. A pity, but I hope you all can work things out.

Seems as if something major happened over the past 12 hours. Around 2020-07-13 05.30UTC the site was completely unresponsive, and all active torrents I have (both seed and leech) report an inability to connect to tracker https://tracker.gaytor.rent:443 even after trying different VPNs. So this is not fun.

I'm downloading and seeding with no problem:
downloading: 3.1MB/s
uploading: 1.3MB/s

It's true that some days ago the upload ratio was higher than in the last two or three days (and I'm seeding new torrents, freeleechers, etc.)
