        @Douseikekkon:

I'd like to revert to SSL in my profile, to see if things get better with SSL checked, but I can't access this setting anymore due to the new interface :cry2:

Click your username in the top right corner, then click "Profile".

In your case, I see that you are using Transmission 3.0… This may be where your problem lies. For some reason version 3.0 is very temperamental with our tracker for some reason. If you roll back to the previous version (2.94), you should have no issue with our tracker anymore.

Somebody mentioned earlier, transmission 3.0 is working again. the only reason it doesnt work before was the outdated certificate. 3.0 is just more strict with that than earlier versions.

could you please try this url: https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd
if you reach a black page showing backend stats, you can reach our backend and so your client should be able too. But if you cannot reach this page, then Hyperfilter is blocking you for some reasons…

Hello, Transmission says the Tracker has timed out.  And I can't reach the URL https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd

It returns "d14:failure reason30:502 - Backend is not reachablee"

I think hyperfilter is blocking me.  My IP address is 184.75.223.90. Any chance you can unblock my IP please?

              Many thanks

this message: "d14:failure reason30:502 - Backend is not reachablee" tells me, that you are NOT blocked. It is the answer from our Proxy who directs the request to the backend. It was another problem with the backend which run the site slow today.. network issues. Please try it again now. It should work. btw. it sounds stupid, but reboot your machine

Refreshing and restarting worked.  I can now access "https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd"

However, do you know why I'm getting a 'Scrape Error: tracker gave HTTP response code 404 (not found)' error message in Transmission?

I read the comment about NordVPN. I am a Nord user and cannot upload. Are the admins saying that Nord is specifically an issue for their DDOS counter measures and so people should move to another provider or that this is a temporary issue? Also, does this affect other VPN providers or just Nord?

The Problem with SSL on transmission 3.0 is caused by the verification of SSL Certificates that is enabled by default on transmission 3.0

Your Certificate is not the Problem.

The Problem is, that transmission is needing an CA BUNDLE file for that verification.
And to build this, some prerequisites are needed (e.g Curl) and if they are not available on the system, that file can not be build.
see the first link i have posted.

So a reboot will not help as long as the prerequisites are not present.

I tried everything I saw here but nothing worked 😞
Checked off the SSL tracker in my profile, tried changing the tracker link manually in the torrent. Nothing works 😞

It keeps showing "finding peers". I use the utorrent client.

I`m downloading Transmission 3.0 to test it.

I dont have a VPN so its not a problem with that. I`ve always downloaded things easily regardless.

More or less. There are some users who say they have had intermittent success with different workarounds for NordVPN, but the general consensus is that NordVPN will not work.

Thanks for figuring this problem out!

tldr;  unchecking SSL in profile, clearing cookies and rebooing got my GTru working again!
                                          :mb2:

Had trouble for past few weeks. Finally saw the banner to look in forums if having problems connecting.
As recommended, unchecked SSL in profile - didn't work.
Then cleared out Firefox cookies/cache - still didn't work.
Per your suggestion, I quit utorrent and rebooted. SUCCESS!

                                          • Are there still problems accessing site through NordVPN?

                                          • At some point, should we check the SSL box again or does it matter?

                                            Hi.

                                            I'm using latest Qbittorrent.
                                            https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd is showing ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
I tried with and without SSL (via profile and re-downloaded the torrent file).
I rebooted the computer, I cleared cookies etc and also did ipconfig /release and /renew and /flushdns

Sometimes downloads works, sometimes it starts working after like an hour or a day.
Most of the time it never starts. Tracker status "Not working" in Qbittorrent.

I had the issue since the DDos started from what I can remember. Never had issues before that. I don't use NordVPN.
