Not weird at all. Showering after sex is very much a necessity IMO. Maybe I'm paranoid, but just putting your clothes back on and moving on seens very unsanitary.
But showering prior to sex really depends on how long have been since you took your last shower. I think a few hours are fine, as long as you are still clean. -

Definitely before. I need us both to be clean to begin with. It doesn't need to be directly before as long as we've both showered that day. And then wash up after.

Depends on hygiene and personal habits of the individual? There's nothing wrong with showering before and after sex. I shower before and after I go to the gym. I often will take showers after I use the bathroom when I take a dump, I just don't like feeling like I'm walking around with an ass that just took a dump. lol. So I'm the guy who prefers to take my dumps at home, rather than somewhere else - but some times when you gotta go, ya gotta go. At any rate, "Morning sex" is hot to me also. And even though that is technically sex with someone who showered (if they shower before bed, like you're supposed to!), the 8-9 hours of sleep kinda washes all that "freshness" away, which makes for some really good Rimming and man-scent.

For me, it depends on the time of day. If I'm having sex before bed, then I don't mind just sleeping. But any other time, I prefer to shower after sex. Or I'll just have sex in the shower.
