Your account isn't disabled and you can still upload, seed, reseed and even download freeleech torrents.
Seeding isn't a sprint, but rather a long distance run. Every time I look, I don't see you seeding anything.

It's not doing anything. I had 3 torrents to seed and I left them on overnight…nothing happened. Not even 1MB seeded

The only site I can seed on is thepiratebay and that only lasted about 5 minutes. It stopped after that. I can't seed on any other torrent site. Weird

I'm about 2 weeks here only so I don't know much about torrenting but I'm gonna say my opinion anyway so please correct me if I'm talking nonsense ;D

After your file is downloaded in your µTorrent (or whatever else you're using), I think you should delete that file from your µTorrent and then go to gaytor.rent to the place where you download your .torrent file in the first place and then you just click on Download button again and your .torrent file will be downloaded so you click on that .torrent file and when it opens in your µTorrent you find the original place where your downloaded file is placed on your computer and click OK.

This way µTorrent will check your file up to 100% and it will start seeding and then your ratio should start improving. I think your ratio can't improve unless you download .torrent file again, check it to 100% and then start seeding.

Also when your file stops seeding you can try force-rechecking it again and it might start seeding again if there are people downloading the file.

Download a freelech… you should have a problem to share. Then do as Cumsucking says.
The true problem will be that you cant even share a freelech :-X

I will try those things you posted Cumsucking as I wasn't doing that, but I think my ISP has something to do with this a well. When I woke up this morning I received a notice that I was flagged for infringement. They were monitoring my download and uploads and stated that I shared a file that I shouldn't have. They cut my service off for a moment until I agreed not to do it again.

It looks like your port that your torrent client uses is randomised. I think this is the biggest part of your problem. See, you need to have the port that your torrent client uses forwarded through from your router (often built into your modem) both in TCP and UDP in order to receive incoming connections. So… You need to pick ONE port and forward that port through to your computer. I'm not familiar with your particular IISP (provider - who I will not mention here for privacy reasons), or whether they offer connections on the DSL, cCable, or rCable platforms, (if I'm not mistaken, your area is under rCable territory), or even what hardware they provide you with your service, but if you PM me, I can work with you to get that port forwarding setup.
Also, just a heads up... If you're on the rCable platform, rather than bDSL, I would strongly recommend checking into your modem make/model to see if it is the Intel Puma 6 (or even Intel Puma 7) chipset, or if it is the Broadcom chipset. If you're on the cable platform and you're using a cable modem that uses the Intel Puma 6 or Intel Puma 7 chipset, I strongly recommend that for stability and optimal performance that you bridge the modem by turning off the "Residential Gateway" feature, then connect an external third-party wireless router to your modem to run your connection as these Intel chipsets are rather famous for their performance issues, and can even cause issues such as the one you are describing, dropped packets, random erratic latency spikes (even at non-peak hours), and in some cases, can even cause intermittent connectivity issues when the packet, usually when the packet is passing through the last-mile rCable platform to route into your IISP.... Just a heads up.
I know this all too well from personal experience with the equipment on the cable platforms in your area. Hopefully, you're either on the rCable platform with a Broadcom based modem, or even better for this purpose, would be piggybacking off the bDSL platfor to get a link into your IISP.

I can put a fix to this though by placing a freeleech status on many of the torrents. This will help to encourage people to download them, which means that there will be leechers in which to send the contents of the torrents to.

I've gotten around this problem myself by doing the following:
CLICK on SEARCH, but change the setting from ACTIVE to INCLUDING DEAD
you should then see your own torrent
CLICK on your own torrent, and download it. Since you just uploaded it, you won't lose any download points, you will just wind up "re-checking" it assuming you use Utorrent. Also check to see that your torrent has the "VISIBLE" box checked.I have another solution for this..
Make ALL new uploads FREELEECH for a certain time period.. perhaps 24 hours? 12 hours? Or perhaps make a new download freeleech until there are at least 3 people seeding the completed download?I sometimes have people asking me to download their awful uploads so they can build their ratio. I think it would be better to reward people grabbing GOOD new movies to build their ratios that way. I download their crap to help them out - even though I have no interest in movies in which I look better than the actors in the movie.

It is very rare that changing the check box is needed. The system should automatically toggle the switch to make the torrent visible as soon as there is at least one seeder that is actively seeding the torrent.

I'm having a similar problem. I had downloaded files with no peers and recently downloaded a large file with peers in the hopes that I could seed but I haven't uploaded anything. I've had no problems seeding other torrents, and I've just disabled my firewall hoping that'd fix it but no results.
Would port forwarding resolve my issue or is it that I'm at the bottom of the seeder preferences because of poor upload speeds? If I can't figure this out now I'll just donate but I'd like to be able to seed torrents in the future.
