My best friend is coming to my place tomorrow in NYC, so I went to the grocery store with your food THIS or THAT in mind.

In the end, I bought Trader's Joe's Three-Layer Hummus:  Traditional, Cilantro Jalapeno, and Spicy.  We are wild people.

THIS or THAT:  You wake up tomorrow with six fingers on each hand; or three testicles in your sack.    :afr:

I don't think I can handle any more testosterone. I'm going with extra digits and a plastic surgeon.  :blind:

I like the multiple angel. You're going to build a pizza do you chose

        Vegetarian or meat lovers,
        Thin or thick crust,
        Normal or extra cheese,
        Local shop or chain shop?

Well, I don't mix meat and milk and I like cheese on my pizza.

Vegetarian, thin, extra cheese, and chain shop.  (I prefer homemade but that wasn't the option.)

Christian Christmas (go to church services, presents around the tree, home-cooked meal) or Jewish Christmas (friends go to a movie and a chinese restaurant)

My co-favorite THIS would be the Jewish non-Holiday, with its Chinese food and no liturgies; and also, a hearty celebration of Festivus (the holiday for the "rest-of-us"):

THIS or THAT:  Finding $100,000 under your mattress tomorrow, and giving it to a Make-a-Wish foundation for terminally-ill kids, or Doctors Without Borders?

Why would I give that money away? I'd keep it. But if I had to make this devil's choice I'd give it to Drs w/o Borders.

Speaking of Christmas (earlier) today is the Solstice, the origin of Christmas. From tomorrow the days get longer though colder. It's a good metaphor for life. Do you prefer the winter or summer solstice?

In parts of Canada the Summer Solestice is dedicated to celebrating First Nations Culture.  The Winter Solestice is just private celebrations for certain groups of neo-Pagans.  I prefer the celebration of Summer Solestice.

                Mincemeat pie or plum pudding

Perhaps a mincemeat pie, light on the suet.

                  THIS or THAT…

                  Abercrombie, or Fitch?

                  Just kidding.

                  Chit, or Chat?

                  Still kidding.  Now, for real:

                  Eggs Florentine or Eggs Benedict?

                    Eggs Florentine - I don't eat pork.
(In Canada there's Eggs Benjamin that uses smoked salmon instead of ham.)

                    Welsh rabbit or raclette

Welsh rabbit, it appeals to my appetite.

                      Dogos: Schnauzer or Pug?

Hmm, small dogs, eh? Well, I think a pug would be easier for a snake to digest, so I'll choose that.  ::)  Now a proper dog, Dobermans are awesome.  😎

Let's do pets: A hamster or rats (can't have just one rat).

Hamster - are they also social creatures?

                          Siamese or persian

Oh, let the cat man answer.

All of mine are rescues, and none will ever meet cteavin, or his snake.  :afr:

(My favorite pet, of course, is a trouser snake.)   :dick:

Back to THIS or THAT:  I'll take a Seal Point Siamese, or this Siam Lilac Point:

                            https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/25/Siam_lilacpoint.jpg

Persian cats are fur disasters and I find them, well, ugly.

                            THIS or THAT:

A colorful Parrot, or a Myna Bird that talks dirty?

I'd prefer a quiet bird like a pigeon but given the choices, I'd take the colorful parrot.

(Hamsters aren't social creatures and do better alone. They're dumb as rocks, too. They only succeed as pets because they're so darn cute. Rats, however, are amazing pets. I considered buying three this year but I'm just not home enough to take care of them as they really need play and attention.)

You have to kill an animal to survive. Do you kill a cow on a farm or shoot a deer in the wild?

I can't see I'd need to kill to survive if I were on a farm.  I could just milk a cow.  So, deer in the wild.

                                Turkey or chicken

As a mascot? Chicken. As meal, Turkey.

                                  Horse or Bull?

That could be taken so many different ways… Horses are good for racing and bulls for bullfights, so I'll take horses.

Here's a question for everyone: Limited carbs for the rest of your life but you have excellent health and low body fat, or your current level with an ever increasing fat percentage and shorter lifespan?

I'm already limiting carbs (and processed foods), and surprise, surprise!  Losing weight and feeling better, as well.  So, I'm fine with that choice.

THIS or THAT:  A trip to, and dinner at, a Buenos Aires steak house, or a Shanghai seafood restaurant?

I would love to visit either Argentina or China.  I can eat beef but I cannot eat shellfish; so the Steakhouse wins out.

Rijsttafel in Holland or Hainann chicken in Singapore

                                        (corected the speling)

That's haaaaaard. I'm going to go with KP because of the effort put in the video (though thematically it reminds me of a toned down/pg version of Black Hole Sun).  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mbBbFH9fAg

Then again, Miley's is the better song. Fuck it, I'm going with Miley.

Which Ani's song describing a relationship does a better job?
