Imagine that any day you lost the backup of your porn, including the content of your uploads: if you download again your own torrents shared in here, the ratio still gonna be affected by that?
I guess that the answer is “yes”, but I think that my own uploads should be like “freelech” for me if I ever lost the vids in my hard drive bc I was the original uploader…

I agree that torrents we upload should be freelech for the uploader. I will post a suggestion in the link provided and hopefully others will as well and see what happens. Thanks for raising this as I've been thinking about this ever since my laptop HD failed and I lost some of torrents I had uploaded and hadn't backed up to my external drive yet so I know what it's like.

I live in Venezuela and here we can't afford to have any dollars… We can only ask for them if we gonna travel to EEUU, and the amount is different depending of what city we gonna visit. So, no money to make online shopping (at least from some years ago till now).
But I don't see why is this so strange to some of you... It should be the right of the uploader to download his own previous content if he lost it by accident in a freelech mode, bc he was the original seeder. Where is the problem with that? In fact, I shouldn't have to post this bc it's so fair that it should have been the right way of managing the contributions to the site in first place.

But if nobody asks for these things, how are we to know that people want them? Just remember… I remember a time when this site did not do freeleech at all. In fact, there was once a time when it was made perfectly clear by the powers that be that freeleech wasn't going to be a thing that was going to happen. As popularity and interest in it grew, the powers that be changed their minds and introduced this feature.
So again... If nobody asks for these things, how are we to know that people want them?

I agree with you. I messed up my ratio really bad a while ago due to a hard drive failure. It took me a long time to get it back up.

Hopefully, with any luck, we could maybe have the powers that be turn it into a front page poll… To my understanding, users must vote on the front page polls in order to be able to see the list of torrents... At least they used to have to at one point, but I don't know if they still do.
