It's their choice. I have never done it raw/BB and this even includes when I was in a relationship/partnership as I've had ex's cheat on me.
Personally if someone wanted me to fuck them raw/BB as I'm a top, this happened once with a guy I dated decades ago who wanted me to help him cheat on his husband and wanted me to fuck him raw, I just say no thanks and that sex between us is never going to happen.
