I totally disagree with both statements, that mindset is a huge turn off, and strikes me as totally disrepectful. There is nothing wrong with role play, as long as both parties agree beforehand the boundaries and there is also nothing wrong with the rougher side of sex if that's what all involve enjoy, but just treating everyone the same is not the way to go. Also, if someone says don't force them to do something then you obey their wishes.

Agreed. There are some very disconcerting views about sex, what sex "is", and where simple BDSM/role play ends and apparent self-loathing begins being expressed here… Some guys are so hung up on not "being gay", they act like complete psychopaths just to prove how "manly" they are. It's depressing.
