A rant for a reliable tracker…

First of all…I absolutely love Gaytorrent.ru! This is my favorite site with the best selection of torrents and an active community, and a big reason why I have donated.
With that being said...what will it take to get a reliable tracker? Frequently, it is down, offline, or timed out. This Easter weekend's freeleech should have been a great opportunity to up my ratio a bit more and download some bookmarked titles. Unfortunately, I have been nearly unable to particiapte because of the recent tracker problems. It's frustrating to be sitting on dozens of torrents that people are trying to snatch, but I can't connect to seed to anyone.
Just wondering what can be done? Perhaps a donation goal to invest in a proper tracker?

We are aware of the current issues with the tracker and are working to resolve them as quickly as is feasibly possible. The tracker itself isn't "down" exactly. It's just over-loaded with higher than anticipated network load levels, and as such, sometimes is not able to properly respond to all inquiries that are being made. The result is session time outs and HTTP 502 errors. I too know how frustrating this can be as I too am affected at times with this issue. Please be patient with us while we get things back up to "Go-Go Gadget" speeds.

CCninja…I can't tell you how great it is to download the Quicktorrentmaker and upload some content. Not only is it dead easy, everything is pretty much done automaticlly (you just need to take screenshots to add in the pictures), but your ratio increases really quickly, plus you get given bonus points by some of the other members when they say thanks. I downloaded barely anything during the freeleech, and what i did were small files. I spent most of the time adding torrents and my seed ratio is now above 1.0. First time ever i have uploaded more than downloaded.
Maybe my uploading frenzy caused the issues lol. But just saying that is another (and really good) way that you can improve your ratio.
