I'm thinking there may be some confusion here. On another site there was a discussion about that error and I think it came down to the version of uTorrent. It didn't like torrent files made by other programs, from memory.
Has your torrent started seeding? You can tell if the torrent page here says visible.
I think the solution on the other site was for those with the wrong version of uTorrent to make their torrent files using MakeTorrent.
You would then have to use the manual upload but it is really quite easy if you follow the instructions.

Do you mean the torrent isn't visible? Which is different than approved. The torrent will only become visible once the system sees there is a seeder for the torrent.

I have a feeling that this is the problem. His version of uTorrent doesn't like the torrent as uploaded (and downloaded) so it will never be seeded and become visible

I think it should be active and seeded. It's showing as visible, so hopefully I did everything right. It shows the tracker as working as well.
Just out of curiosity, what version of utorrent are you using?

I use 3.0 - I stopped upgrading when people were reporting problems with later versions. I'm a great one for 'if it ain't broke….'

Yes, everything fine. Already 8 seeds.
I'm still using µTorrent 2.2.1 latest stable built. I use as well qBittorrent. On another PC I run µTorrent the latest stable version 3.4.30 currently, mainly for support.

Yep, I just submitted the request now. It had to be seeded for 24 hours, so I was waiting for that.

Yes, the PM link on the First time page. I'm not sure how long it takes. Probably depends how much other stuff junior has to deal with

I let request set in my inbox for at least a day, which give me time to deal with dupes. Then I usually get to them after 24 hours. They will get two notices about the points when it process them.
