Sorry to bother you again, mgr, but something really weird is going on. The glitch/bug must be more elaborate and complex than you may think. After you fixed my user class to Newbie, I made two more posts and was demoted to Semi-Newbie!! ???
Well, you wanted more examples of other cases. I don't think I should mention any specific user names, it feels like ratting on a fellow user, but I assure you there are several users with lower or higher user class than they should have. There's even a case of someone who has a yellow star and only 3 posts, and has ascended to Newbie! :-
Back to me, I find my own very special case of automated descension really funny! :rotfl: Can you please fix it again, so that I'm a happy Newbie?

Thanks for pointing out the interchanged group-names in the starting post about user classes.

In fact this step is not a demotion but a promotion.

Understand the naming like this:

0 - 2 postings : "only" a lurker, but hopefully reading
3 - 9 postings: climbed up one step, but you are still a newbie
10 - 49 postings: climbed the next step. Not a real newbie any longer but the junior member class is reachable

Well - there is another reason to differ between Newbie and Semi-Newbie: Our introduction board. Posting permission (I have to be careful now ) is supposed to be restricted for lurkers and Newbies only. Reading (how you introduced yourself those long years ago) is allowed for all member post-groups. OK, moderators and above groups have the permission to post too

OK, it makes sense now. I was reading the table with the user classes, but the table had the Newbie and Semi-Newbie classes wrong. I see that you already fixed the table. Well, it's all clear now. Thanks for the answer, mgr!
