Can someone tell me if the link to my fantasy thread in the body of my previous message is showing in blue? It's not on my device, but I'm wondering if that's just because I've already visited my own link(!!)

The 2 contributors to my Fantasy Teens-Boys-World thread (other than me that is) have both made 8 posts so far, but are both showing as lurkers. I would appreciate it if someone could give them the promotion that they're due. I'm happy to PM their names if that helps.

In fact this step is not a demotion but a promotion.

Understand the naming like this:

0 - 2 postings : "only" a lurker, but hopefully reading
3 - 9 postings: climbed up one step, but you are still a newbie
10 - 49 postings: climbed the next step. Not a real newbie any longer but the junior member class is reachable

Well - there is another reason to differ between Newbie and Semi-Newbie: Our introduction board. Posting permission (I have to be careful now ) is supposed to be restricted for lurkers and Newbies only. Reading (how you introduced yourself those long years ago) is allowed for all member post-groups. OK, moderators and above groups have the permission to post too

In any case, I don't like "semi" things. I want to be full Newbie or no Newbie at all!!

Whenever I see such a case (lurker with yellow star) I try to fix the case immediately. But I don't have the time to watch all postings and/or all members for this glitch. So you did the right thinkg with posting in this thread.

This is sometimes caused by a system glitch, which has affected some accounts. I have brought this to the attention of an Admin to have this corrected to have the correct title come up for your user class.

That user class got access to a special forum section for exchanges between them and us. Else they got no extra bonus, besides the "stars".

For example it was already helpful to help members with login issues, when a site is temporarily not reachable etc …

The stars are a rating system based on rank. In the case of 3 green stars for Gay Leader, simply means that the user who made that forum post, or who'se profile you're looking at is a moderator on another gay torrent site. Gay Leaders are a unique class as they help us communicate with the different torrent sites to help with a number of things, including notifications of site downtime, warning of user activity to be cautious of, etc.

Nope - not at all. There seems to be a flaw that in some cases the group name (Lurker) does not change, while the "honor stars" do change - you had the "Lurker" title and one star which is actually a contradiction in itself

I can (and do) fix the effect of this flaw when  I can see it or after a user let me know about this happening - so I fixed your case too
