Would An HIV-Killing Sex Gel Encourage Widespread Barebacking?
-
I hope that responsible men will keep playing safe, after all it doesn't guarantee 100% protection against HIV.
Although it is true that it does not provide a 100% guarantee that HIV transmission will not occur, I can see it becoming a popular product based on the fact that some people want to take every reasonable step possible to prevent HIV infection. I know for sure with my partner and I, it is something that we would definitely use just for the simple fact that I am HIV+ and do NOT want to be responsible for transmitting it to my partner, although we're aware that it is a risk that we must keep in mind. He is the ONLY exception to my condom rule, as we've had a long and in-depth conversation in a very graphic nature, and I made him read Managing Your Health (available online at hxxp://www.catie.ca/myh) and have a full in-depth discussion about what he would inevitably go through if he were to become HIV+ as a result of that decision prior to allowing the exception to the rule to be made.

I didn't consider it from this standpoint, sounds like it could be a thing. I reckon if I were in a relationship and would bareback, I wouldn't use a cream like this, if I'd have any doubts about my partner then the relationship would be over. But like with your situation it sounds perfect. Are you a top or a bottom? I imagine it wouldn't help a whole lot if he was the one topping you.
-
We kind of flip-flop. Most of the time I am the bottom. Believe it or not, but for a number of reasons, the risk to the top is actually substantially less than the risk of transmission to the bottom.

-
That's kinda logical, bottom can get infected through micro trauma, also there's way more surface to harm, hence higher chance of trauma.
-
plus given the size of MrMazda's… dong, trauma might be a virtual certainty hehehe

:faint: That explains A LOT!

What can I say? Sometimes with a size like mine, being the only guy to have ever popped my bf's cherry, it can make for a sweet sweet pleasure, and sometimes a pillow princess…

Then how well equipped are you? :faint:
-
6.5" uncut and relatively thick with an upward curve (that only adds to the sensation and makes it feel bigger), and go up to 7" just before I cum and don't go back down until a short while afterwords. It makes for an intense sensation, so I've been told.
-
M'kay, sounds like fun :lovp:
Well anyway, back on the topic - how much could a gel like that even cost? Would it viable to use all the time? -

Oh really? Why haven't we seen that? Uh?! Hahahaha!
Anyway, I wouldn't count on those kinda gels with no 100% conclusive researches. If they could prove 100/100 times that the gel in fact kills the HIV-virus, I wouldn't use it. And since I highly doubt they will, I rather be safe and put on mah' hat! xD
-
i think although you wouldn't count on them as your only line of defense, you might want to consider them as an added layer of protection. Just my thought.

Exactly my thought process on the matter… If this product were made as say for example a lube, that would make for the best of both worlds.

+1 to you two

-
Lets see 36% agains't the what's the percentage of condoms 98%? And you're getting a drug on your stream so + side effects… even if you are absolutely sure to be clean of infections you might get a bad case of urethritis, bare should be savoured as a once in a while thing with your  is that so hard to get, if someone want's to go have only bare with anyone well it's their choice, however they are prolonging the possibility of a greater and continuos number of deaths related with the desease and that for me is a bad human being.

HI MrMazda
I was trying to make sense of what you wrote:

Are you saying that you actually do bareback with your hiv negative partner? Sorry if I misunderstood. How is working so far? I'm not judging.

If he ismedicated the probability of infecting his partner is very small (not 0) but really small.
-
Not bein etectable through blood test is not the same as saying that your sperm does not contain significant amount of virus. well at least that's what i read on several prevention sites I went to. As i said i'm not judging, just informing myself any way possible.

As I said it's not 0, I do not recommend it in any way yet it's their choice to take the risk, it's great you're looking for information, that only speacks the best of you has a responsible individual.

Yes… Some may call me strange for where my mind is at... More particularly that I believe in the right to freedom of choice. This includes the freedom to choose what level of risk (if any) that you are willing to take. That being said though, if the risk a partner wishes to take is to engage in unprotected sex with a known HIV+ partner, I am very well known for making damn sure that they FULLY understand ALL of the consequences before making such a choice, as that goes to their right to make an educated and informed choice.
